Hiya all
Hmmm - fell off detox bandwagon big style last night. I had 2 fishfingers, I sauasge, lots of white choc and even more rose wine(not all at the same time I hasten to add) I blame curry queen entirely - she made me do it miss :rotfl:
Anyway - I have put a grand total of 1/4 lb onBut I have had brekkie. I think my problem is that detox isn't a weight loss program unless you really need to detox and as I eat very healthily most of the time, it doesn't have the impact it used to. REally will have to do more exercise
Anyway - had a good sleep last night, Mr TM has taken boys to mass and I'm sat here with my herbal tea. May go and do some exercise while they are out. Other than that - lots of ironing to do. No idea what's for tea - lamb chops perhaps.
Ok - catch ya later - sit ups to do

Morning all - haven't been around much recently - haven't been up to much OS and not been feeling great, bit under the weather and employment issues too - but I musn't moan too much.
Glad to see most people's little uns seem to be on the mend
Queenie nice to see you about
Math - hope you had a nice evening last night
Jo - Glad you had a good night out in the end - I'm the same as you I don't drink much, and also have asthma so smokey places are bad, so I'm not a fan of night clubs etc. Jam and bread making sounds great - no room in our tiny kitchen for this sort of thing.
This morning have started sorting out the rubbish and put 1 load of washing on. The 2 loads we did on Friday night need to come off the airer now and go away (but OHs still in bed  ) then need to whizz round and pick a few bits up etc when I've finished my OJ.
Also need to put away my boots bargains from yesterday (was at Monks Cross too Elona but in the afternoon for far too long) got some reduced things for pressies, used the botanics voucher they sent me in the post and as botanics is on bogof got it all free, used no7 voucher from the spend £10 thing earlier in the month and picked up some cheap time delay and essential aromatherapy stuff - spent about £10 on over £50 of stuff at original prices :T :money: Also got a lovely little jumper in Next for £13 to wear to work and spent the rest of my birthday money (from nearly 3 months ago
) on a lovely per una skirt - definently not OS but need to get my wardrobe converted from student to grown up working adult
. Also got rid of the recycling and picked up a few bits in Sainsburys. Then picked up OH from work and we went to the designer outlet - I only spent 50p on 30 cuticle sticks from body shop and OH got a few things he wanted - Whittards gave him 50% discount on their coffee beans :T
Anyway spent far too much time last night looking at honeymoon plans (again not OS) so must get on this morning - out all afternoon at a rehearsal then going straight out for a friends birthday which involves a train ride and then need to get up to work tomorrow
Must get on - why can't weekends be 3 days long
edited to say: I'm lost my ebay selling virginity :T my auctions sold fine, guy was understanding with me trying to get my head around invoice etc, paid by bank transfer to the same bank as me so instant and free, and lady in post office gave me too much change I realised later and got +ve feedback so I'm happy - made about £5.50 from somethings which were freebies - helping with wedding ring fund as other sales have been slow of late - Digital camera is totally broken at the moment so bit limited to more ebay selling etc. at least OHs phone camera is pretty good - sorry to get so excited but I've put off selling on ebay for so long glad I've got started now :T :money:Initial Mortgage January 2024 - £160,000

Morning all,
Have just folded all the clean laundry (did 3 loads yesterday) and put it back in its rightful place- in drawers etc. Just written myself a plan for the day as I want to get quite a lot done but am too easily distracted by MSE, books, anything really! In a minute I must dust and hoover the whole house, and wipe round the bathroom. Then the next hour I must study for an interview I have. Then I must sew some hems back on some trousers, I have noticed that a few have come loose and are dragging in the dirt, not a good look! I'm not that great at sewing so hopefully it won't be too hard.
Later I have to take the DVD back that I borrowed for free from my gym last night (It was Meet the Fockers- very funny!) and start making dinner. I have decided to be brave and attempt my first ever roast chicken after some kind reassurances on here last week. I am cheating a bit though in that my mum is coming over who makes the best roast in the world so I'll have a bit of guidance.
Have a great Sunday all!

Morning
Bit slow to start today, although BM is on. We did a major clean yesterday, so i think i will do some baking to use up some flour, and make sure it goes in the oven with my chicken as it roasts. I'm hoping to have enough leftovers to do a couple of other meals.
I want to wash my hair. And i should probably try to finish edging a latch hook rug. I finished it before Xmas, and i promised my sister she could have it for her little boys room.
Have a good day everyone.

Spent the morning making cookies, burnt the last batch to a crisp as forgot about them and hopped in the bath  , they are in the bin and the others are already nearly gone thanks to the kids.
Must go and pop the chicken in the slowcooker, useually add some white wine ,but have some red that needs using so going to pop that in with it instead. Hope it tastes as nice.
cleaned out my fish tank yesturday and bought some more fish that I couldn,t afford  , but now looks so much better, who cares If I have no food money left :rotfl: also bought a snail, so hope that will sort out part the algae problem I have as the tank gets the full sunlight through the window.
baby has fallen asleep after his bath bliss.
Taking the kids swimming later will be babies 1st ever time and praying he will enjoy it as dont want to sit there doing nothing for 2 hours, while the girls have fun.
need to go and tidy the kitchen.
Hope you all get some much needed sleep and hugd to all who are under the weather.

OH decided that the hedge needed coming down in the back garden this morning and has gone off to do it.
This may sound normal to other people, a bit of gardening, but he has been promising for SEVEN years to take it down. There will be a big argument this afternoon when I force him (sorry, I nag him - must get it right!) to take the branches to the recyling before it closes. Its added nearly 2ft round the garden by taking it away - and as its a small garden it looks massive now! I can see fence all the way round! So I think I'll paint it a bright colour for the summer. but I can't decide which colour.
Up early and went off to a Car Boot - bought DD2 a guitar for a £5 - not till I got home that I noticed a bit of damage where the strings lean on. Burger. Anyway, it should take just a little bit of wood and glue. Its only a temporary measure. If she can stick with it and does well, then we will save up and buy a decent one.
I have no idea what to do for dinner. I have to pick up DD2 at about 3pm from Nannys, so I may pop into Tesco and see what they have reduced. I need nappies, milk and veg anyway (and thats it for my shopping list this week!!)
DD1 has gone off with her older brother today - so all quiet on the western front. DD3 is out "helping" Daddy in the garden and DD4 is glued to Muzzy at the moment.
WM finished its 2nd load - I'll do one more and thats that today. Will put BM on later ready for tomorrow (haven't used it in ages ..... sorry - I've let the side down.....)
Hope you had a great bath Kiwi! And hugs to those not sleeping well.

Ive had a busy morning, went to a chinese supermarket and felt very out of place, but came away with stacks of black and white sesame seeds, flavourings and spices etc, I got a bag of 'assorted spices whole' which contains Farchiew Pepper, Fennel seeds, Aniseed, Dried ginger, cinnamon, round cardamon, clove, dried orange peel, liquorice root and bayleef. I have no idea what im going to do with it! It looks good anyway! Got some small cans of coconut milk (which I have never been able to find before), sunflower seeds and seaweed sheets too. It was a bizzare experience, but fun. Just been to tesco too and stocked up on fresh tuna, salmon and cod in parsley (for the cheaters fishpie), as well as salt & pepper grinders that were in the january offer and now £1.23 reduced, and some raspberries for jam making.
Ive booked myself a cut and colour for 2pm today too, so id better get me skates on as I need to drive into town again, I hope the hairdresser is good! Will post later as im sure I have some indian and asian cooking questions im going to need answering!
