    Morning campers :hello:

Beautiful sunny day here again so WM is on and will be dried outside again :D ... surprisingly, I hung out a washload yesterday around 3pm and it was actually dry and not even damp when I brought it in later that evening! :j ... oh and the lovely fresh smell of line dried clothes mmmmmm ... sorry, for getting excited over something so silly but it's 4 years since I've been able to dry clothes outside :p

BM is on and I've just got onions, ginger and diced mutton out the freezer in preparation for making a lamb bhuna later. DS1 will probably want korma though so I'll dig out a cooked chicken breast for his a bit later. He's still in his pit the lazy so-and-so so can't ask him what he wants yet

Must go grab a shower and get dressed when I've finished this :coffee: as <fingers crossed> I'll be going out this afternoon

Hope you all have a lovely day and the poorly ones are starting to feel a little better this weekend <<hugs>> :A

    Bye for now!

I guess the point is - if you have some soup left over you can easily turn it into gravy...

    And vice versa ;)

    Morning everyone,
Just dropped dd at ballet.I usually wait the hour and a quarter while she dances but it's finally dawned on me, that since it's only a 10 min drive away I might as well come home and make the most of an empty house and mse for a bit. Also ballet class is right next to Tesco and i always end up doing unecessary shopping and I'm trying to give up the Tesco habit ;) .

Boys and OH are at judo.

Lunch will be hm pate(from the River Cottage Meat Book),salami, cheese, olives and hm bread.
Supper will be lasagne made with leftover meat sauce from the freezer and fruit salad made from tinned fruit in juice.

    Hope everyone has a good day,bye :)

need to put on BM in a minute and wash my lovely new nappies.

Don't do it ..... put the nappies in the WM and make bread in the BM!
    Sorry, couldn't resist that one!

    Mornin' all,

Just sitting here in a perfectly quiet house, bliss .... I had a lie in this morning after the initial get up of DD, DD and DH have gone to the Wacky Warehouse to play ... and give me time to sleep, bathe, chill .... :)

DH is off to the US tomorrow so I shall have all the broken nights and early morning next week, sob! DD is invariably ill when he goes away, last time it was a raging double ear infection. Wonder what joys it will be this week ...

My washing dried on the line yesterday ... first time this year!
I did a sad experiment with my towels yesterday too .... all washed in same detergent with vinegar as fabric conditioner.

    1. Hung straight on airer
    2. Shook once, then hung on airer
    3. Hung on line outside

Sure enough 3 was the most soft, but I couldn't believe the difference between 2 and 1, just one shake made it so much softer ... ok, I'm a geek, sorry!

Todays plans ... finish my cuppa, dry hair, get dressed, hang washing outside, wander to the market and get some veg, wander to the health food shop and pick up some flour and herbal tea bags, might get over-excited and go to the library ....

B - herbal tea and 2 HM biccies (this is becoming a pattern, hmmm)
    L - dunno
D - spag bol with garlic bread, bolognaise is defrosting and garlic bread shall be made from the 5p part baked baguettes I got from tescos t'other day.

Tonight, we're off to see Narnia! Should be good!

    Hi everyone
Got a busy day today. Am at work this morning and then meeting a friend and taking our boys out for a walk in the local woods. Weather is lovely down here. Lunch is HM bottom of the fridge soup and tonight we're having vegetable cheesey thing [posted recipe in the index]. At some point I'm going to have to do the ironing aswell as want to spend tomorrow steam cleaning the carpets with my Mum's machine [how thrilling]
    Regards

    I've been Money Tipped!
:T Queenies back! Welcome back Queenie! Not been here myself much recently (flu) but have really concentrated on the January pms and grocery challenge and am staying focused and on target! :j Bring on February!

When my brain fog lifts I really must find out about selling on e-bay as we have to do a serious de-clutter, have visited to flylady site so must get started but don't fancy getting all those e-mails  so will take from it what I can.

This is a challenging year at Catz place as oh has just retired and I have had to give up work due to illness, so on half income but we have survived worse  With all the great :money: advice on here we should be just fine.

Just for a change, i'm gonna be revising pretty much all day. Although, today will be a break from the norm as I have a friend who does the same module coming round to try and get some practice essay plans done, and somehow I think we'll get sidetracked away from revision for at least part of the afternoon!

food....dunno, need to get some more food, the fridge is empty except for butter and milk

flat is clean, so nowt to do really....just flippin revision of fluvial geomorphology...and yes its as boring as it sounds

hugs to all the ill OSers and OS littlies, but it sounds like most of you are getting better now :T
