Morning Jo and everyone else :hello:
Early start for me as it's my turn to do the weekend breakfasts for the boys. Had an easy night last night - vegged in front of the tv, although DS1 was with me until he fell asleep at 9.30 -doing his "I can't sleep routine" Last night I was tired and it was easier to let him curl up in my bed next to me and fall asleep there.
Anyway, after my shower I'm heading for Debenhams to see what they have left in their sale. I have a gift card to use so that will help. Also need more fresh fruit/veg and dairy so a trip to the market/Lidl will be in order. A couple of child free hours too - even if I don't spend any money, I can mooch around Boots to my hearts content
Other than that, will put some washing on (for a change) and if it's still sunny this afternoon, may go for a bike ride.
Food-wise - haven't a clue. Will see what jumps out of the freezer at me.
Take care and have a good day. Hope all the poorly peeps are recovering (and mum's getting some more sleep)

Morning
Up most the night with DD:rolleyes: so totally knackered!
WM is on and will be dried on washing line. DW not even half full. Toilet cleaned. Everywhere still clean and tidy from yesterday. Beds airing.
OH & DD are cleaning out the gerbil cage and Im off to have a bath in a minute and put nice clean pj's on. Bones and joints really hurting and a bath should ease it up abit. OH today has a few jobs to do: Clean Car, Clean outside downstairs windows, pick up rubbish wind has blown into garden. Later OH & DD are making a couple of quiches and maybe a Victoria sponge cake.
Ive updated all my money files this morning. Have to call Tesco as a £10 voucher didnt come off my debit card and they sent 4 items either squashed or nearly out of date-so will owe me about £16. Need to fill in a HSA form for OH and his back that we paid out for, so will be another £17 refund there. Thinking about swapping my talk talk account to 8699 or whatever its called LOL, so will look further into that today. Need to make a veggie chilli later for tomorrow.
Think DD wants to watch a film after her gerbils are cleaned and shes had a bath, so may try and have a snooze for an hr.
Breakie:Protein/High Calorie drink from GP-YUK!!
Lunch:Baked spud with coleslaw and cheese
Dinner:Pie, Mash and veg
Will catch up later.

Well. We are all a lot better. OH is still a bit weak but the babes - well, you wouldn't think anything was ever wrong with them!
The elder two seem to have escaped catching it. I am glad the bug was short lived.
So, today, DD2 (11yo) is off to Nans house to stop the night. DD3 (3yo) and I are off the the ballet school to buy her unifrom from - it is cheaper there than the local shop, ebay or an online shop so well pleased - barring shoes, the whole set up will cost me about £22 and thats half the local shop price!
Into town to grab a handful of toiletries from Savers and onto the Library to change the books. While in town, will walk over to Tesco to grab a few bits for the store cupboard to do some cooking tomorrow morning. (more cakes and some sweets . oh er)
Tomorrow we are off Troll Hunting and need a hearty picnic.
Off to find myself a coffee and an apple for breakfast.
Lunch will probably be sandwiches
Dinner will probably be Left over Bolognaise on Jacket Potatoes, so I'll get that out to defrost soon.
Hope everyone else is feeling better - and have a great day everyone.0 -

Morning all.
Hope everyone is well and enjoying a beautiful Saturday.
I'm venturing out today in search of fresh fruit and vegetables. Shopping has been painful this week thanks to a badly strained wrist which feels as if it is taking for ever to heal. But my fab new brightly coloured string bags arrived from Incensed and the long handled version made life so much easier! Thanks to all who have recommended string bags on OS.
OH was "forced" to learn how to operate the BM and SC early in the week when I couldn't hold anything.... now the freezer cannot keep up with him  Anyone got any tips on how to make the vac, duster and the vinegar spray equally sexy?.
Hugs to all ill folks of all sizes, wish you better. My first reply was witty and intellectual but I lost it so you got this one instead
Proud to be a chic shopper

Morning everyone :hello:
DH has just gone off to work, I'm sat here in my dressing gown with a :coffee: contemplating the days tasks
Breakfast: Weetabix (well Sainsbury's own!!)
Lunch: HM ham and cheese pannini
Dinner: HM Texas chili with cornbread ( )
DD (7) made her New Year resolutions to eat more fruit and veg!! She is being very good and trying something new each week - this week was lettuce - and as long as it's in a bun with a HM burger she likes it :rotfl:
Well I'm off to have a bath, put some washing on and then I'm going to clean the house from top to bottom (well that's what I'd like to do - we'll see eh!)
I'm looking into buying a Slow Cooker at the mo - but DH doesn't get paid till Weds and me the following Tues, so I guess it will have to wait till then. I bought a chopper from ebay the other day (2.70 inc postage :T ) so I'm looking forward to making salsa with ease!!
Will probably pop in later - to get some inspiration when I've stopped cleaning :rotfl:
Take care - byee!Squares knitted for my throw ~ 90 (yes!!! I have finally finished it :rotfl: )Squares made for my patchwork quilt ~ 80 (only the "actual" quilting to do now :rotfl:)0
