i am 21 and my mum passed away in april, my step dad has her ashes and even though they were only together for 2 and a half years, who the hell would i be to fight over her ashes?!?!?!
your dad has left everything to his girlfriend, they are his wishes, you quite obviously couldnt have thought that much of him to want to take him away from the woman he wanted to be left with!!!!!!
so you dont like her, who cares!!!! your dad was in love with her, youre doing this out of spite, not of love for your father. go and find some compassion for the woman who has lost the man she loves!0 -
Why is it so wrong to expect that our Fathers belongings be given to his children? Had she been his wife then we could swallow that but they were only together 9 years, he was our Father for a lot longer.
You mean other than the fact that he made the effort to leave them to someone else?If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything0 -
I'm sorry I don't agree, children should always come before girlfirends.
Just proves the saying "you can choose your (girl)friends but you can't choose your family" Unfortunately! Your poor Dad drew the short straw when he was lumbered with you lot.
You get what you deserve - diddly squat!!
(Yes, I know he's a troll but I thought I'd give my two-penn'orth just in case;) )0 -
oooh hang on a second, i'm 20! don't go tarring us all with the same brush!
edit: ok, you said "not every" so I'll let you have that one
cody, you're an idiot.cody1988, am I right guessing that you were born in 1988? Not every 20-year old has clear idea of what is the life like and that would explain a lot why DVDs and CDs and stereo are more important than your fathers wishes!Wins since June: iPod shuffle 1gb, Samsung g800, cinema ticket, lush retro giftbox, 2x mp3 downloads, a big box of food (???)0
