Who owns a deceaseds ashes?

i am 21 and my mum passed away in april, my step dad has her ashes and even though they were only together for 2 and a half years, who the hell would i be to fight over her ashes?!?!?!

your dad has left everything to his girlfriend, they are his wishes, you quite obviously couldnt have thought that much of him to want to take him away from the woman he wanted to be left with!!!!!!

so you dont like her, who cares!!!! your dad was in love with her, youre doing this out of spite, not of love for your father. go and find some compassion for the woman who has lost the man she loves!
