Thanks
Same here - will give it another week before I email them
Surprised about the UPS number, so glad its not just mine not recognised0 -
My tracking number was sent to me on 2nd September - it is also not recognised.

Fingers crossed that they are just slow sending as I'm really excited about using it.somewhere between Heaven and Woolworth's0

Hi Guys,
I'm sorry to hear that you've not received your orders yet. Personally I've not had any issues with iHerb.
FWIW, my orders usually arrive 7 days after ordering, but in a few cases have taken up to 10 days. A friend of mine had an order take as much as 14 days, though. Unfortunately, tracking numbers don't work on the economy airmail service.
As long as your order value is below $29, you shouldn't have any problem with customs, though I guess it is possible that they are causing the hold up if they decide to inspect the contents.
Given the UK postal strikes, it would probably be best to wait at least 14 days before contacting iHerb.
Hope your coconut oil arrives soon!
Cheers,
Chris0 -
They have probably been overwhelmed by all the MSE's who want buy it.0

Good news is mine arrived today
Looks like I ordered it around the 3rd of Sept
Smells divine, obviously the stuff I had from the ethnic food sections isnt the stuff I was supposed to get. Ah well its a great moisturiser so I will use that for the outside and this stuff for the inside0 -
Mine arrived yesterday too. What a huge amount for the money. I've already used some as moisturiser - Can't wait to cook/eat some.somewhere between Heaven and Woolworth's0

i've been using coconut oil for a couple of months now - in cooking, as a moisturiser, hair conditioner & taking as a supplement. it's great stuff!
you have to do a bit of reading up first to make sure you're buying the right stuff, worth it in the end to get the most benefits. virgin, cold pressed (absolutely no heat) & organic for me.
i got my first one off ebay, cocovida brand 500ml for £13.99 delivered. very pleased with the quality & taste, really creamy & not too coconutty when used in cooking.
2nd was off ebay too, coconoil this time, i'm not sure if it was a 'second' (it didn't say it was) at a bargain price of about £7 delivered i think it was. not so pleased with this one. bit of a gritty texture, taste wasn't as nice & a 'hole' in the oil, like there was a large air bubble when it was first poured in.
back to cocovida this time, direct from cocovida , 2 x £500ml £26.98 delivered.0 -
Does anyone have any idea what the one from Holland and Barrett is like? It says it's "pure coconut oil", and it says "unrefined", but that was all the information I could see on the tub when I looked today. It was about £12 for a tub.0

Yes, it's very sketchy, typical of H&B  I haven't bothered to write to them and ask for more info because (1) if past experience is anything to go by they won't provide much and (2) I've got my great big tub from iHerb, which is cheaper and is high quality.
