eltrot - sorry for the confusion, I find it cheaper on coconoil 'cos I buy 6 packs and that works out at £7.66 each. Either way it's a really good addition to ones diet.0

Hello all! My 400g tub of coconoil turned up this morning yipee! I'm LC'ing too so looking forward to seeing some results
ETA: So far, having it in coffee is giving me nausea. Maybe jumping right in with 1 tablespoon was overdoing it. Will try it with hot water *before* meals tomorrow. Happy to report that using it as a moisturiser on skin and scalp has gone down a treat. Apparently I smell tropilicious0 -
Hi, have been reading this thread with interest! Had a quick search and found this if anyone wants to try without spending much money. Will try it myself and let you know

Very informative site re coconut and all its benefits. But a bit pricey compared to what I pay, still this is a glass jar and the one I currently buy is plastic.
Even so, well worth a good look all over the site.0 -

Been using olive oil since my six year old was a new born baby. Oil as a baby massage lotion. A moisturiser put on wet skin you only use a little then. Cooking. Hair conditioner. I use sea salt as a facial scrub mixed with face wash.“…the ‘insatiability doctrine – we spend money we don’t have, on things we don’t need, to make impressions that don’t last, on people we don’t care about.” Professor Tim Jackson

I am at work and wish I was at home as I'm suffering with stomach cramps and bloating (hormonal) and the last time I had this I took a teaspoon of coconut oil and within 45mins the symptons had gone and I was feeling human again! Roll on 5pm:o0

I use coconoil and its great! Feels lovely on the skin as a moisturiser and smells delicious! Great for your nails too. I use it for frying but tend not to use too much as the coconut taste can take over! Not tried it on my hair yet but might just give it a go. A spoonful in my morning coffee is quite nice but tends to leave a greasy feeling on my lips, but hey, if its good for me I'll put up with it!! x0

I forgot to tell y'all - I got the Tiana sample, it comes in a mini-jamjar, but on the (reportedly) hottest day of the year I was taken by surprise that it had liquefied, got it on my fingers, dropped it in the sink and it shattered
I'd only used it twice - my face hated it but I was going to persevere. Generally my skin seems to hate any oil
