Morning all
Been up with baby since 6 - 2nd day on the trot - on top of him waking in the middle of the night again. Really knocks it out of you when he's been a good sleeper for months!
Dad went into hospital Mon teatime - not too serious, we hope, but sis & I off to see him during visiting today - mum went yesterday. He's not the world's best patient  so expect him complaining about everything!
On the bright side, decorator just finished DS bedroom & it cost £100 less than he'd quoted! :j Should be enough for new curtain track & curtains - big window, though, still, £100 not to besniffed at!
Got to start WM, wash/dress self & baby, & do some more Christmas stuff.
See you later, hugs & kisses to all in need!:grouphug:

PenPin - hope you're following doctors orders!(((hugs)))
am off to do some cleaning for Mum this morning then am taking Lesley's partner and daughter to visit her - the hospital is quite a drive away and they dont drive.
I didn't sleep well at all again and had more bad news last night as the gentleman that I cared for until about a year ago when he went into a home has died at nearly 98. We were good friends and spent hours doing the Telegraph crossword together. I cared for him for about 18 years in all.
Take care all xDo what you love :happyhear0 -
I have made so many changes to bring down our outgoings....in fact I have implemented most of the suggestions I find here on the OS board, we never go out (except for free outings like a walk ) or hire dvds or ever treat ourselves to luxuries. Christmas will be a really pared down affair and I even sold my car and now walk everywhere... I could go on but you get the idea
The problem is my DH never says how well I have done at implementing all these changes... I even shaved an extra £10 off our weekly grocery shopping this week through using coupons. I was really impressed he said "try to do that every week!!!" It is never good enough. We are renting at the moment and we have a daughter so he really feels the pressure to get us our own home and we are both in agreement about our goals but if he so much as spots that I have bought a magazine I get a lecture about wasting money. I am the one who has researched all the ways we can save money and made the changes. I am getting really fed up with never having anything to look forward to and endless lectures about how I am terrible with money.... seriously!!! I brought no debt to the relationship.... he did (albeit only a student loan, but still). I actually did without a winter coat while I was pregnant last year, I insisted I get a coat this year and I got a lovely £70 one
. Aaaah, I feel a bit better after that rant but any thoughts anyone?
ETA... I might keep a list in the kitchen of all the things I am doing so he can see it in black and white!0 -
Morning Peeps
Lovely sunny day here today, but a bit chilly to say the least, washing on line, another in machine :j. Had a lovely early night last night i was totaly shattered after my speed freak day yesterday. Taking it easy today tho.

DD2 (2) watching TV, will go for a wonder around the village later, but need to wrap up it's blooming freezing today.
