Another newbie here - I have just seen this thread and have read it right through in one go - very moving and truly amazing in what you have achieved. Emily - you are an inspiration!
Wish you all the best with everything you are doing - and I hope that cheque has arrived for you! Will definitely bookmark this one.

Hiya Emily, just had to have a quick look on here to see how you are doing.
Unfortunately, I have had a mega spanner in the works, talk talk disconnected me from Tiscali but I will not have broadband for 4 weeks as I do not have the modem or installation cd. I am now having to borrow time on other people's PCs and to top it all yahoo email is currently down at the mo.
If it wasn't for you I would not have sat in a field last week selling my items at a car boot or completed the mystery shopping trips last week. Wherever I am, be it family PC or in the library or cyber cafe I will be following this thread and cursing the day I heard those two little words "talk talk"

I have just sat here and read the whole of your thread, I was brought tea on my lap so I could keep reading, I have had tears streaming down my face, and I have felt proud of you as well.
You have done so well. Keep up the good work.Oh....I'm not going to lie to you......At the end of the day, when alls said and done......do you know what I mean.........TIDY0 -
Hiya Emily - you haven't posted for a few days, so just wondered how you are doing and what you are up to ?

PS I now have 9 mystery shopping trips lined up and talk talk should be working by Tuesday. TT offered me a financial sum because of all the problems I have experienced which eases my bitterness (slightly).I am the only Voucher Queen in my village LOL

Hi Welsh-Dragon, I'm glad you've got loads of jobs lined up. They get easier the more you do don't they?
I'm sorry I haven't posted recently everyone. I have been feeling very ill unfortunately and haven't been up to much. Not done much debt clearing either. My health has gotten to the point where I am thinking of cutting my hours back down to 4 days a week again. I know this would have a big impact on my income but I think the time has come to put my health first.
I'm going to talk to my manager about it next week but whatever happens my pay wouldn't go down until September. I am still undecided what to do really. What do you all think? Should I cut my hours down to help my health out and put my debt clearing on the back-burner slightly or should I fight through this bout of illness and continue until I've cleared my debts a bit more.
I know I am only 25 but it does tire me out getting up at 6am every weekday to go to work (I get up so early as I have to do physio and take a zillion tablets!!).
On a brighter note, I won a Nintendo DS and game during the week. I then sold it for £70!!
Anyway, I'm going to try and get some sleep now but everytime I try at the moment I seem to launch into a coughing fit
Take care everyone

Hi Emily, sorry to hear you're not very well at the moment, I do hope you start to improve soon. I think your first priority has got to be your health, and if that means your debt free date is put back a little, I think that's a small price to pay. Although knowing you (not that I do, but I feel as though I do because I've read so much about you!), I can't imagine you will let things hold you back for long! Is it likely your boss would let you drop your hours as a temporary measure with a view to increasing them again if and when your health allows? Would your reduced salary be enough to cover all your outgoings, and still have enough to keep chipping away at the debt, albeit more slowly? And would the extra day at home give you more opportunity to do your mystery shopping, AQA, competitions, ebaying, car-booting, your new business venture etc? Could you make up the difference in your income this way? (I've just re-read what I've written and it sounds like I'm bombarding you with questions, sorry!!!). Anyway, you concentrate on getting over this bad patch, hope you start to feel better soon. I'm thinking about you - hope you manage to get some sleep, Love Snaggles"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250

Hey Emily,
I agree - your health is 100 times more important - and knowing you, you'll find a way to become debt free despite all odds.
Sorry to hear the CF is getting worse - my thoughts and love are with you.

HI Emily
So sorry that you are having a bad spell at the mo.
Think your health has to come first at the mo though.
Agree with everythingSnagglepuss put as well but that will save me having to type it all out.
Take lots of care & really hoipe that you are on the up again really soon.

Hiya Emily, really sorry that you are feeling poorly at the mo - big hug. Really I think the others have said what I think too, your health is much more important - you could cut your hours down, then increase them when you are feeling better.
In the meantime, you have to look after yourself and you must take priority over your debts and how fast they are paid.
Take care - Michelle xI am the only Voucher Queen in my village LOL
