    Hi Emily

I must admit that I haven't read all of this thread as a lot of people have replied and I really do need to go to bed now, but do feel free to join us on the Gambling Introductory Offer Loopholes board if you have built up a little
bit of spare cash and want to make £10 or more a day. If you're good at maths it's easy to do and NOT gambling! :)

    Hi Emily

As I said in a previous post I was thinking of starting your £10 a day challenge in September when my boys are at school. Well this week without really trying that hard I have done it! I am so pleased with myself. I complained to Asda a couple of weeks ago and got a £10 gift card as a 'Good will jesture', I also had some extra unexpected mystery shopping jobs which brought in £50 and I got £21 from my normal weds night shift at a cafe.

I also applied to AQA but got turned down as some of my answers weren't long enough. But really a very successful week.

Hope your weekend goes to plan.

Go for it Batgirl - I'm a little behind at the moment so need to make another payment myself. I might have to wait until I get some mystery shopping money though.

    Good luck!!

    Hi there

Just thought I'd share my good luck this weekend with you and mention how your ideas are rubbing off on me!!!!!!!!!!!! On Thursday I was leaving the house as the postman arrived so he gave me my post. I was in a rush so took it with me in the car without opening it. I then completely forgot about it until yesterday, when I remembered one of the letters was from a friend who sponsored me in Race for Life last week and had some money in it. I decided I'd better get my post and open it. One of them was from my life insurance company and had a cheque in it. I read it and thought it was a nice surprise to get a cheque for £25. When I read it again, however I noticed my mistake - it was for £1025!!!!!!!! :T It's a the cash in value for a policy I've cancelled as they've given me a much cheaper one (£43/month cheaper in fact!!). That's enough to pay off a loan and have a holiday plus the £205/month I currently pay on this can go towards paying my credit cards off. Then last night I was mooching around on the computer and thought I'd look at the virginmobile website. I have a PAYG phone and get rewards for how much I use it. When I checked that I found I had £80 that I could put towards another phone. I don't need one but I've bought one for £89.99 (in effect paying £10), which I will sell on ebay. As it comes with £30 airtime I'm already quids in cos I've got £30 airtime I can use on my phone for £10, so a £20 profit before I even sell the phone!!!!!!!!!! So thanks for the motivation and ideas :A

Well done Pilchard that is great news. I was just saying to my husband yest that I used to dread the post, but now I really look forward to it. What with competition entries, mystery shopping money, freebies, and other refund cheques from companies, the post is now fun, instead of just bills bills and late payment / overdraft charges ( a thing of the past!).:j :j :j

Well done Pilchard - I hope you get loads of other nice surprises soon!!

I only posted my goals for this week this morning and I have already achieved 2 of them!! I've got 2 more mystery shopping jobs lined up and I've just seen my name on a winners list in the Daily Star for a Nintendo DS game.

I know what you mean about the post Batgirl - That is why I love comping because you never know what you will get through the post next!! I love getting home from work to see if I have won anything, I'm the same with checking my emails.

I have got £200 left on my Barclaycard so I am going to clear £100 from it this week and then another £100 next week and then it will all be gone!! I know that is a little bit over £10 a day but I just want to know that it will be cleared before the end of the month, then I can get started on my next target debt.

    Emily xx

Lots of people in this thread are talking about Mystery Shopping.

Are you aware that you have 3 months to register as self-employed with the Tax office. If you don't, you will be fined.

Haven't registered myself yet but I have got the forms. Apparently, there are free courses to help you set up as self-employed. What records you need to keep, what are allowable expenses etc etc.

I recommend that people register too before the taxman gets you!! It's the same for AQA. I've done it and it was so easy. I think I posted somewhere in this thread the number and website of where to register. :D

Emily's put the details in post 297. Hope that helps. :j
