He did offer me a 'gesture of goodwill' on a replacement order. But he wanted me to order first THEN he would arrange a discount.....Yeah Right!! Still awaiting a reply of confirmation after insisting on a discount amount.

I had a response from the customer service person I talked to originally but now she's ignoring me.. I've still heard nothing from management who were meant to email me yesterday afternoon.

Has anyone been refunded yet? I keep checking my account and they still haven't refunded me from the 30th December, imagine all the interest they have made from the money they took and kept in their account with no intention of supplying these camera's. :rolleyes:

The lady who called me said something about a gesture of goodwill if buying at full price. She said probably no more than 10% off as the maximum.

Sorry to butt in, I'm a student lawyer in Ireland (where the same deal existed).

Legally I find good grounds for us to get the camera.

Also I have already been offered 15% off student special deals on cameras... do not accept anything less than that.

This is the one i just spoke to, tried very hard to fob me off with ''item is no longer available''. I explained contract has been formed,they should honour it and they still hold my money! then,I was promised a refund!!
...and i will be taking this one to trading standards.
