the bottom line is they haven't got any cameras so they cant supply them, at whatever price.

Well, the supervisor who called me yesterday said they are available, just not for £98.70. She claims they will be selling them again, at the correct price, soon.

There's no pricing error on the Nikon Coolpix 5200 or 5600, both of which are still listed on the website, neither of which are in stock.

The main problem seems to be the Apple store website has been (and still is)taking orders, and confirming them (and in some cases taking payment?), for some items that are not in stock. In addition to this, there may, or may not, have been a pricing error on the Olympus E1

the article here is well worth a read it refers to a very similar scenario that kodak found thenselves in about three years ago.

kodak also tried to pull a fast one and changed the terms and conditions in the end kodak did relent .and why because the fear of bad press. Even though to kodaks credit they quickly admitted that there had been a procing error the fact that they tried it on was thier ultimate downfall.

Oh dear harry. I didn't realise that if my opinion differed to yours, I was not permitted to post.
As for my sanity, worry about your own.

I believe that the Kodak error was more down to their t&c which on the order confirmation email stated that you have entered into a contract.. etc.. etc..

They like many other companies have learnt from this and use T&C that allow them to back out of any pricing errors.
