i know a reputable supplier who can help them out .....

they are called apple uk and seem to have plenty of the cameras on sale on thier normal uk site ....so umm supplying should be the least of the problems that applehave have at present ...

"this is about the camera right?.. we are temporarily out of stock. we've been told an email should be going out to you explaining the situation today..."

they couldn't give me any info about when it could be shipped, but they sounded a bit sheepish and also a litle panicked.

read into that what you will...

I wonder if any of you will snap these up? If Customer Service is Apples focus, then I would hope they'd make every effort to capture you new customers. If they don't deliver, it'll certainly expose them to criticism; this however does also give them a chance to develop.

Still, if you don't get them it's not the end of the world, but IMHO their system lense itself to scrutiny. Legally, things are deffinately not black and white here.

I reckon they'd have had thousands of orders in a flash, and I hope they don't close the shutter on all of you.

I wonder if anyone's hacked their systems, trying to frame them in some way?
