Gryfon I started when it wasn't so easy, I made cut backs then, looking through the budgets and shaving money off etc I do know what it's like, then a case of plodding through paying things off. Now things are easier, which they will become for you eventually like it did for us, you will be like I am now and save money where you can for a few nicer things.

SarahS same goes for you, I only have one CC now which I pay the balance off every month as I am trying to do a bit of credit repair myself. (We don't go there with DPs as I paid them all off, gave them back and he maxxed them on toys, never again!!! but he knows they are his problem now!) It will get easier, it's a big step to take not relying on credit cards and overdrafts, I have screamed at my bank several times now because I want the overdraft they have just given me removing! I don't want it because if I even so much as take a tiptoe in it I know I could end up back to square 1.

:o not getting very far with the housework am I, I have emailed LL the stuff to help her, filled a WM again but the wet stuff still needs hanging out off the last load, I best go do it now.
One day I might be more organised...........

Waaaaaaaah! Forgot Mr G finishes work at 3.30pm today and I thought it was 2pm :( So lunch is nearly ready and he's not here. I'm grumpy and the poor children are bearing the brunt, although if they did what they were told which isn't much and didn't answer me back that would help!

Dinner eaten - fairly quiet one as DH still isn't speaking to me! I've gone tired now so could do with going back to bed for an hour - can't see that happenning though. Might have a try at wrapping some presents or I might just slump on the settee for a bit.

I've got it written down aisha but the change from 7-2 to 7-3.30 always gets me. It's something like 7-2, 7-2, 7-3.30, 2-10, 10-7, 10-7, 3.30-10 and then some rest days. Talk about confusing! I think the new shift pattern coming in in January is slightly better.

Suppose I should really tidy the kitchen table after taking some painkillers, have period pains :(

Just found DiL's scales. I'm 69.6 Kg which, apparently, translates to 10.96 stone. How many pounds is .96 of a stone?

juliejim can we swap please? My DP is away so I was thinking peace and quiet, no he's phoned about 15 times so far. ((hugs)) sillyness aside I know it's not nice when there is tension.

soappie, 13.44lb isn't it? Divide 14 by 100 then multiply by 96 to get .96 of it, well that's the way I would do it. So then how many ounces in 0.44 of 1lb...........not even a pee that's what! :rotfl: I haven't weighed that little since pre kids :(

toots, I like that, especially the starfish one, rather strange creature which has a 'nerve net' instead, they also eat through their bottoms, yuk, amazing what a 9 year old obsessed with sealife can teach you. HHC 3.15-3.45pm anyone? I need to get moving (because aswell as having mountains to do I am coldddddddddddd)
One day I might be more organised...........
