What I've been doing is just choose a room, then choose and element of that room.
EG I'm doing kids room atm, so i decided to clear their floor first. Most if it has gone onto the beds, but I have cleared the floor and vacuumed it. Next job will be to clear the stuff off the beds into their respective homes. Then i will probably vacuum again after I wash the window.

    Hope this helps you.

Thanks. It's just all so overwhelming iykwim.

At the moment just trying to concentrate on the kitchen table so we can actually eat off it! Once that is done I'll have space to put some boxes on it, which I am putting stuff from the kitchen into, so things that belong to the children and other rooms. Those can be stacked when we eat.

It's just such a slog and I feel a bit hopeless that I can't keep up with things!

I've had a bit of a lazy morning after getting BF off to rehearsal complete with a flask of coffee and some snacks. I've just put on a load of washing and ironed what was on the airers/hangers around my flat, so that means I can get two loads of washing done before having to leave something to dry.

Hope everyone is well and hugs for anyone who needs them.

  • Boddy, sorry to hear that sad news, even if it's not 'meant to be' it's still terribly sad for everyone, esp your GS and his partner. (((hugs))) all round there.

I thought I'd never get over the miscarriages I had, but I did in the end. And now, I look at these little munchkins and can't quite believe that I thought I'd never have children. Difficult time for them, and you. xxx's

The DR table is now clear! Another hotspot but I needed it clearing so we can actually sit at it to eat dinner.

Going to put the veg on now - already prepped as I did it this morning - and sort out the rest of dinner!
