  • Jjeff - congratulations. Wonderful news.

I too don't want to post before pics as you'll know we live in a midden then!:o

Seriously, doing dailies and some flying is improving things, despite living in a building site, but even DH said yesterday that it'll be worth it when it's done! As we complete a room/area my aim is to make sure that only what should be there is there, with a proper home!

    Off to the kitchen!

Okay in my 2 HHCs I have managed to clear the worktop in the kitchen which is my major hotspot! So I've:
    Cleared hotspot
Cleaned worktop which was hiding underneath said hotspot.
Cleaned all low level cupboard and drawer fronts.

  • Meant to say I've SS's the kitchen now.

And, since the demise of the tumble dryer, I've been hanging up on an airer and I've got a pull out washing line in the shower room. If we haven't got the heating on, I put on a small oil filled rad and it's working quite well. TBH it probably works out cheaper than the TD, because I can dry more at once.

Just put a wanted on freecycle for one.

Its starting to look a bit brighter outside so I might chance putting a load on the line with my brand new pegs hehe.

Great thanks. Lost all motivation to do anything now. Anyone have any tips for trying to ignore the whole picture and just do bits? I keep looking at the complete mess and my heart sinks :(
