  • Well tea and toast and a 'chat' with you lot did the trick. I'm warmed up, showered and dressed.
Suppose that means I need to make a plan:(

Good luck for party, pigpen. Not sure how you cope anyway, but needing painkillers to do it:eek:

Reorganised my kitchen tops and put away my slow cooker - think I need to get it out again so I will use it.

    Morning everyone.

Quite a bit of snow here this morning. Had a laugh before as there was a bird on top of the roof opposite and it suddenly rolled down the roof sideways in the snow. Went back up and then slid down.

Found out last night that GSs partner has lost the baby. Have been quite upset although I know it hasnt been meant to be.

lil_me Hugs and positive vibes coming your way. She should have let you know as soon as she decided. Get anyone you can involved to support you. Hope she wants to live elsewhere and you can stay there.

Flower Have a safe journey. Take care.

emily Congratulations on getting the bungalow.

pigpen Hope DD has a lovely time at her party.

TAG I love my slow cooker. I usually alternate between that and my Remoska.

Soappie. Take it easy and enjoy your walk this afternoon. You have a lovely DD.

Anyone up for a HHC at 11am. Going to tackle the bedroom.

I'm thinking of asking santa for one - woud you recommend slow cookers then?
    .

Oh yes, yes, yes. I love them:D:D:D:D:D:D:D
I hate cooking. Occasionally I have a moment of inspiration and produce something wonderful. I can cook quite well, I just don't like doing it. Which drives DH mad. So that is why a slow cooker is my kind of cooking. Chuck it all in, switch it on, dinner sorted.

I had a little 3.5 l one. But it's not big enough for four of us. DS eats as if there's no tomorrow:rolleyes: So I was chuffed when ex hubby asked if I wanted the bigger one back. Means I can do at least two meals at once and freeze one. My favourite is to chuck some lamb shanks in. Yummy!

Fantastic to come home from work and have dinner already done.;)

I'm breakfasted, bathed and dressed now and not a lot else done yet.

DS came down and asked me how I'd managed to make soooo much mess in the kitchen!! Its only because I emptied the baking cupboard trying to find the ingredients I needed (note - needs a bigger cupboard for baking stuff).

Kettle has just boiled if anyone would like one :coffee: :coffee: :coffee: :coffee: :coffee: :coffee: :coffee: help yourself. I'm going to have mine then actually do something

    back in a bit

PS hugs boddy for GS and girlfriend

    Made our bed,
    SS's bathroom
Vacuumed our room, the floor I can see in DS's room, bathroom, study and landing and emptied and wiped the vac
Dusted chest of drawers, doll's house and bookshelf on landing
    Done some shredding
Taken out bread, put in mix for rolls lunch
And.....put the coffee pot on. Anyone fancy a :coffee::coffee::coffee::coffee::coffee::coffee:
