  • Hi Everyone :hello:

Been here all day, but not posting. (((((hugs))))) to everyone that needs or wants one!

Toots That's such good news. You must be very relieved. I hope you'll be getting something fabulously delicious for your Christmas dinner!

Had DD2 & 3 at home today, and DH has been working from home too. Grandma took the children swimming, so we had a peaceful hour or so.

I've worked through SOA again today. I did it 3 months ago, and had a complete     moment!!! Since then we've changed how we're doing things, and now have worked out a payment programme. So the plan is debt free by Jan 2013!!! Blimey!!! It was a lot more fun spending it!!! So a productive day all in all.

Just made the weetabix brownies...yum! They're pretty good. Not overly sweet. Definitely good lunchbox fodder!

    See you all later.

Mudbath.. I knew it was quiet!! lol.. I am relieved you have decided to go for th eop.. I know it is a very drastic move and a very big decision to make but things will be so much easier for you after it has all healed.. are they leaving the ovaries do you know? My mother had none so after a few months she had menopause symptoms etc but if they leave them it stops that until the natural time.

Pigpen - I'm undecided about the ovaries...they said it was up to me. Part of me wants them gone then I won't have problems later but I need to do some research. I was told to have the op at 18 so it's not like i've not had time to think about it!! Lol!

Lil_me - yip, i've had all those things but nothings worked. I don't know what's changed my mind now, I think i've just had enough. I just know it'll be the best decision i've made.

Toots - hope you're ok. Thanks for your good wishes xx

You are doing well toonie - its amazing what a difference little jobs can make - just even your damp dusting will make all the flat surfaces gleam!
the visitors are coming to see your OH and you not inspect the house - even though I know you want to make a good impression!!!
    toots xx

Thanks toots! I do want to make a good impression because BFs parents (well, his dad) is constantly worried that we can't cope, we need help etc, so if we can get the flat looking presentable and food in the cupboards (handily our monthly shop was delivered last week, so we are well stocked up) then hopefully they won't worry as much.

I think I'm done for the day...my back is starting to ache now, so the rest can be left to BF. I did manage

[strike]Wash bedding for spare room[/strike] and its on the clothes airer, now ironed as well.
    [strike]Mop kitchen, bathroom floors[/strike]
    [strike]S&S Kitchen[/strike]
    [strike]S&S Bathroom[/strike]
    [strike]Clean bathroom tiles[/strike]
    [strike]Ironed clothes on airers[/strike]
    [strike]Damp dust living room[/strike]

    BF can do these
    Damp dust window sills
    Sweep/vacuum living room, [strike]hallway[/strike], study/spare room.
Sort out study/spare room (most of it is his mess, I'm not touching it!)

  • Just taken DS round to GF's coz it's her birthday party tonight, not till 6 though so I've warned him not to overdo things helping get ready. Her mother should be doing it. Can't remember if I said she got GF to call me yesterday morning to ask me to take them to Abergavenny to the hospital (cast removal) as she was "very breathless and felt like she was wearing a corset" - FGS, what does she think I've felt like for the last few weeks? I said no, I was taking the puppies to the vets and coming back for a rest. Actually, our GP had told me off for doing things for her anyway. She hasn't worked since she had her daughter (16 last Monday), does very little hosuework (gets GF to do it even tho she's registered disabled), absolutely no home cooking that I've seen in 2 years (everything from packets/jars etc) even her breadmaker only gets packet mixes and has a perfectly good car sitting in her garage as well as the one that her OH takes to work! After a few texts between me and GF (who I would do anything for) her mother took her anyway, which just goes to show she was up to doing it in the first place. She seems to delight in putting GF on the spot as she makes her do the telephoning, even things like pretending to be her and phoning up to complain about things to companies! Oh well, GF is still planning to move out, but holding off till after Christmas!

Sorry. Rant over (but she does my head in!:o)

On a lighter note - email just received (not sure if you've seen it):

    *Caution... They Walk Among Us!*

*One day I was walking down the beach with some friends when someone
shouted....'Look at that dead bird!' Someone looked up at the sky and
    said...'where???'*

    **They Walk among us!!*

    ***
While looking at a house, my brother asked the estate agent which direction
was north because, he explained, he didn't want the sun waking him up every
morning. She asked, 'Does the sun rise in the north?' When my brother
explained that the sun rises in the east, and has for sometime, she shook
her head and said, 'Oh, I don't keep up with that stuff.' *

    **They Walk Among Us!!*

    ****
My colleague and I were eating our lunch in our cafeteria, when we overheard
one of the administrative assistants talking about the sunburn she got on
her weekend drive to the beach. She drove down in a convertible, but 'didn't
think she'd get sunburned because the car was moving'.*

    **They Walk Among Us!!!!*

    ***
I told the girl at the steakhouse register that I wanted the half kilogram
sirloin. She informed me they only had an 500g sirloin. Not wanting to
make a scene, I told her I would take the 500g steak instead of the
    half-kgr.*

    **They walk among us! *

    ****
My sister has a lifesaving tool in her car it's designed to cut through a
seat belt if she gets trapped She keeps it in the boot...*

    **They Walk Among Us!!!!!*

    ***
My friends and I were on a Lager run and noticed that the cases were
discounted 10%. Since it was a big party, we bought 2 cases. The cashier
    multiplied 2 times 10% and gave us a 20% discount.... *

    **They Walk Among Us!!!!!!*

    ***
I was hanging out with a friend when we saw a woman with a nose ring
attached to an earring by a chain. My friend said, 'Wouldn't the chain rip
out every time she turned her head?' I had to explain that a person's nose
and ear remain the same distance apart no matter which way the head is
    turned...*

    **They Walk Among Us!!!!!!! *

    ***
I couldn't find my luggage at the airport baggage area. So I went to the
lost luggage office and told the woman there that my bags never showed up.
She smiled and told me not to worry because she was a trained professional
and I was in good hands. 'Now,' she asked me, 'Has your plane arrived
    yet?'...*

    **They Walk Among Us!!!!!!!!*

    ***
While working at a pizza parlour I observed a man ordering a small pizza to
go. He appeared to be alone and the cook asked him if he would like it cut
into 4 pieces or 6. He thought about it for some time before responding.
'Just cut it into 4 pieces; I don't think I'm hungry enough to eat 6
    pieces.*

**Yep, They Walk Among Us, too.!!!!!!!!*

*Sadly, not only do they walk among us, they also reproduce!!!!

PF poor girl having a family like that, she sounds like a nice girl aswell. Hope the party goes well, has the dress arrived, did it fit?

Mudbath, poor love, does sound like you've reached the end of a very long tether with it all.

Did well in my HHC inc some gastly sock sorting, I don't know why I hate it so much. DW is refilled, well some in anyway not full yet. Tried using the PC I need to use to do something I need to make a start on (site and big research project I need finishing by next week) and it is being a pain, then when I switch it off it comes back on!!! Need to go feed the kids now, will argue with PC while it's cooking.
One day I might be more organised...........
