Damp dust living room and all window sills (am allergic to most cleaning products, so just use a damp cloth)
Sweep/vacuum living room, hallway, study/spare room

Also did a S&S of the kitchen cupboards, white goods and tiles behind oven hob. Kitchen floor is drying, so once that's dry will get some lunch, but first a bathroom S&S.
You are doing well toonie - its amazing what a difference little jobs can make - just even your damp dusting will make all the flat surfaces gleam!
the visitors are coming to see your OH and you not inspect the house - even though I know you want to make a good impression!!!

Stamps, I like stamps, speaking of stamps I found my half complete Tesco one today, must get that finished! I lost it so haddn't been getting them, remind me it is in the kitchen 'bags' drawer if I ask please :D I wonder where I put the money off voucher code things for Maplins, DPs always buying **** from there.....

Just scoffed some lovely stollen, bought in Lidl rather than HM, nice, I love marzipan but so far the only one who does in my house, I feel all Christmassy (in a stuffed turkey sort of way) after that nomnomnom....

Right the old DW needs an empty, after I stick an ebay order through, back in a mo
One day I might be more organised...........

Hmm so by old standards id need 46hrs.. new id need 65hrs @ £20ish a lesson. yikes. Bout 4 years ago i actually did 10 hours with a proper instructor and ive done about 20 hours more recently with a family member but obviously i reckon most people will say that wont count and i'll have to start over again like i know nothing!

I'd love to start learning again but it works out at about £1300 if i need to do the 65 hours. That wipes out all my savings which were to tide me and sarah over the next year or so. :(

If i could do it in 35 lessons i think i could manage to budget for that. I planned on doing the passplus course too which is £150 extra after ive passed but heard good things about doing it.
Scarily enough I was thinking about this the other day as well Johanne

So thats *gets the calculator out* :
    • Old way - 60 hours
    • New way - 65 hours
So I'm looking at £1300+ too :eek::eek: Guess who won't be learning to drive for a while either :(:(

Wish I hadn't posted that now :o lol. The 2x your age is just an average. Don't let it put you off! A lot of people learn quicker. And I'm sure women learn quicker than men too. :p

I've been saving tesco vouchers for the BSM lesson pack (£48 in vouchers for 4 lessons plus all the books, CDs and L plates) and I'll switch to someone else cheaper for extra lessons.

    Afternoon all

Had my filling - was very deep and he used a lot of anasethetic so it took ages to be able to eat. Went into town but was very uninspired and only managed to get 3 stocking fillers for DH and a new pack of mf cloths!! Think it's gonna be online all the way for me this year (except for some nice scarves/wraps which I intend to get from the market near work (think eastenders)

Had a chat with my sister after eating a tin of rice pud (easy to eat without making a mess/hurting!).

Am now going to get on for a bit -

    HHC anyone 5.15-5.45?

ps. pigpen - i have a spare one of those (have 3 at home and 1 at work!) if you can't find yours pm me your address and i'll send it, though prob won't manage before tuesday now

My mother had her hysterectomy about 200 years ago for reasons similar to yours.. she says she wished she had had it years before.. now I THINK that was to stop the incessant bleeding and not because she wished she hadn't had my sister.. but if it is taking over your life to this extent I would say go for it.. if only to get a few weeks off flying! It cannot possibly be good for you like this.. (((hugs))) and I hope she leaves soon!! It is a massive op but you will feel so much better after you've healed!

Thanks pigpen...i'm definitely going for it. I've not been on for a few days because i've been given painkillers and they completely zonked me. It's a nice floaty feeling but not one I can function with:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: . I've an appointment at the hospital on Monday so i'm going on the waiting list then. It'll be worth it just to avoid flying!!!

Hugs to everyone. Will be back in a few days when I'm semi human again xx

Awwww poor rach, take some painrelief before it wears off completely, I hate the whole dribbling without knowing feeling, ewwww. I am another who's uninspired when out shopping, I think I just hate it so much now. Have you been on the discount code board thing where small businesses mainly are offering discounts to MSEers?

Mudbath my Mam has been resisting their suggestion of one of those for years, I do wonder if she regrets it now but she thinks she's now going through the change so is hoping it'll go naturally. I have stuck with being on the implant (after the injections) because my extremely troublesome periods have stopped entirely. Seems to run in our family as my Aunties and cousin have like me all had hospital stays due to womens things. My Mam's had all kinds done to try to stop it like a abletion (I think that's how you spell it), resection and a D&C she's ended up with infections galore after one of the proceedures aswell.

    Joins in HHC late.................................
