AnWsMum I know you're at work NOW but in the Advertiser ONE of the Morrisons near here is now doing 5p off a litre of petrol if you spend over £40 - and of course there's the £20 voucher save AND you don't have to spend the petrol voucher the same day - tho' obviously you would only want to make the journey once. Don't know if I'll traipse but it might suit you to visit Staveley.
Woohoo - bedroom done - only the dining room to do now!

Looks like it's changed now "The Driving Standards Agency recommend that learners should have about 40 hours of lessons and another 25 hours of practice to be ready for the test"
I'd love to start learning again but it works out at about £1300 if i need to do the 65 hours. That wipes out all my savings which were to tide me and sarah over the next year or so.
If i could do it in 35 lessons i think i could manage to budget for that. I planned on doing the passplus course too which is £150 extra after ive passed but heard good things about doing it.
Scarily enough I was thinking about this the other day as well Johanne
So thats *gets the calculator out* :- Old way - 60 hours
- New way - 65 hours
:(

Chrimbingo - Just noticed we're on our second card, I thought to win we needed 8 in a ROW they are all over the place on the one we won? Guess it's time to spend again then! One day I might be more organised...........
GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb0 -
Just spoken to my brother who is a driving instructor he says it depends on the person, the guidelines are more geared towards teenagers if you are someone who picks things up quickly and can get out to practice then between 10-15 however if you take things slowler then 20+ he did say that he finds women in their 20s with young children more determined to pass as they have such a bad time on public transport!!!
After reading that maybe I won't need so many lessons :rotfl::rotfl: Its not that I want to own my own car right away, I'm more interested in being able to hire a car and go out to places as it would be cheaper in alot of cases than getting the train or bus!!!Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -

Ashia - the first session will be the hardest (take some tissues) but I'm sure it will help and you will come to look forward to your sessions rather than dread them. Take a cardi - you could feel cold, but make sure you can take it off as you also might feel hot.
Ta for this honey, never would have thought of the cardi thing, though I've never been to the health centre I'm going to. Thats probably got me as much as the idea of strange people. Will definatly be taking tissues, I seem to be more teary then ever at the moment. Now MARRIED!11/09/100 -

I have been to the PO, it's freezing out there
Think I have overdone it a bit, because my discomfort is coming back, so going to have a cuppa & a sit down before I do anything else. DH & I are going away this evening for a weekend in Bath (booked before my 'lump' was found!) so I need to conserve my energy:rotfl: & which weekend does my DS decide to pop home from uni, yep the one when we're not here

Hi peeps, hugs to the ones that need it, sorry I have not read all the replys there are sooooooooooo many lol.
Not a good day at all, I had little sleep last night due to pain and just feeling yack. The stress is causing trouble I am hoping the bells palsy is not back. Managed to fall asleep on the couch poor mum had come to visit and I slept. Then at 1 oclock my gran phoned and woke me up, she wanted to go shopping so I had to toddle round there and go shopping with her.
Got back had a sit down for 5 mins then had to go pick up my daughter from school. By this time I'd had nothing to eat all day and was still feeling sleepy but nasty mother would not come with me as she dnt like the walk.
Any ways she must have been feeling guilty, as she has paid double to the washer man for me so that saves me 12.20 as she dnt want it back then she gave my 5 year a fiver.
Oh and not only that she made me some toast and a cup of tea too. I think people have realised that I am quite peed off with them not understaning how ill I feel. I have been trying to keep going but I think things are creeping up on me.
Thats all for now peeps, enjoy the rest of ya night. Wins in 09 = A vodka cocktail kit thing lol, £150 Amazon voucher.0
