Ditto that - and what NO-ONE has put yet (I think) is how supportive we all are one this thread (and others) of people we do not 'really' know, may never meet and yet we still care. We encourage, we praise, we compliment, we sympathise, sometimes when a bit more encouragement is needed we PM, some of us have gone through tragic times, some of us put up with far more than others and still stay strong. We give time to each other - searching for information on line when someone has a problem. We pass things on - books, clothes, recipes - allsorts!
We share the triumphs and the sorrows...there is not a one of us who is mean, selfish or uncaring. Not a one.
Apart from me.. I make you work.. and kick you when you don't.. AND... I even make you write silly lists about how wonderful you are!!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

I've finally caught up with the thread after my work trip to Leeds (which was remarkably hassle free given the potential for missed trains/connections/stop!). I managed to get work to book me into a hotel with a pool - the room wasn't as nice as in the place I usually stay, but the pool was more important. So after my 4 hour journey I arrived, went for a long swim, went to bed, woke up, swam, had breakfast and went to work... as a result, I'm not suffering from all that sitting down on the train.
Plus I got my school paperwork (governing body self assessment spreadsheet needed sorting out) done on the way up - it was a lovely old-fashioned train, with leg room, and for some reason, hardly anyone in the carriage although the rest of it appeared packed - lots of stuff done while I was there, and quite a bit on the way back too!
Internet access didn't work when I got home, so rang the helpdesk, had a bath and went to bed. Managed to get myself out of the house for a (late!) swim this morning... and seeing as the helpdesk hadn't called back had a rest in the sauna too! Finally got on line at about 11.30 and have been catching up here pretty much ever since (with a break to have a massage at lunchtime, and the odd bit of work as well!).
Building work in the utility room is still ongoing - it looks fantastic, but I think it's taking him rather longer than he thought it would... and I won't have my WM back till Monday  so that will be over TWO WEEKS without it! Still, the floor should at least be done by the time my mum comes to stay next week so we should be able to get that sealed and polished in between taming the garden and having facials/massage/reflexology/pedicures (all of which I paid for today to avoid any arguments next week!)
I'm not going to post my list yet, as although we did a few bits last Sunday when we got back from Devon, I haven't really done anything this week (then again, I haven't had much of a chance to make a mess), so I'll see what seems sensible on Saturday.
It sounds as if there has been lots going on here. Hugs to EVERYONE whether you need them or not - you're all wonderful. You may not be perfect, but at least you know it!0 -

I think there are some hugs and woopees in order so I'll say them now.
Came home from work at lunchtime today. I think I have either a v. v. nasty cold or the flu. Everywhere aches. I got into bed as soon as I got home and just lay there shivering. Now I'm burning up. I don't know what to do with myself so I hope you'll forgive me for not flyingI am the leading lady in the movie of my life
