Got most of the washing in now and it's folded and put away. Just a pair of jeans still out there. Wish we had more drying days like this.
I got my Christmas card stamps this morning. Haven't written any cards yet though. I did buy them after Christmas last year.0 -
Orkneystar - The Bible says "Make a joyful noise unto the Lord!" I can't find any reference to it being tuneful, so go sing! :j
(Originally posted by Menolly)Valli, thanks so much for posting that........made me well up *snif*! LIke Flower, my best friend (my cousin Chrissie) is miles away - we do try to support each other on the phone and I hope that one day, DH and I will be able to move closer to her and her DH - they are good friends!. Another dear friend moved miles away and, sadly, died of breast cancer earlier this year. Coming here is like being able to have coffee with a great bunch of friends and I am so glad that this thread exists - hugs to you all!
Forgot to add that, as a former Army wife, my best friends also tend to be far flung and rarely seen.
I second that!DMP mutual support thread No: 433 - Mortgage - £54,556, Credit cards - £4012, Unsecured loan - £3,376, Other - £419

confession..... i didnt..... It just looks clean being a white chair - the chip mush and squished fish fingers are both white so dont show up on camera!:rotfl:
I can assure you her head is resting on a soggy fish finger though... i had to comb it out of her hair and wipe it out her ears before i could put her to bed!:rotfl: :rotfl:0 -

I thought someone had broken in last night  still not sure what made the noise cos it sounded like someone had tried/opened the front door and then half an hour later I heard one of the inside doors downstairs opening! I went to check but I didnt check too thoroughly cos I didnt want to find anyone! so I ran upstairs [strike]and hid[/strike] till 12 when X got home. I tried phoning him but he had no signal. GRRR! @ living on britain's most easterly point! They dont bother putting phone masts anywhere around here.
So I'm not sure if I'll make it to the docs or not. I got up at about 12 today. Right I'm gonna go have [strike]breakfast[/strike] [strike]brunch[/strike] [strike]lunch[/strike] late lunchand then get on with my (shortened) list ...
