Hi everyone
I haven't been on here in a while, and I think i've missed you all because I just feel so carpy at the moment. I feel like bursting into tears half of the time and I don't have much idea why. I don't seem able to find time to do anything, everything I try to do for OH doesn't go right, and I haven't really made many friends at uni, i failed my driving test, have just found out we have heriditary bowel cancer in the family, I can't keep up at uni, I feel stressed all the time. The flat is a mess because I just can't find the energy to do anything so haven't done any flying in about 2 weeks.
Sorry about moaning, I feel awful for offloading all this onto you lovely people, but I just need a chance to get it off my chest. Oh dear. The waterworks have begun.
Hope everyone is having a better time than I am, love and hugs to those that need them xxxChifundo Uzuri Siochain"All that is gold does not glitter, not all those who wander are lost" - JRR Tolkien~~ Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, but love leaves a memory no one can steal ~

((((((((((((((((((((((carol))))))))))))))))))))))))
Just do a thing at a time, even if its something small or something that might make you feel good (bake a choccy cake or something ?).
As for driving tests, I failed my first one, and know lots of people who have failed more than that too. You will still have learned from this one, and better luck next time. Sorry about the cancer, I am not sure what to advise- are there certain foods you can avoid/eat, certain things you can do to help yourself ?
Sorry to not be much help, but just wanted to answer the post.
Take care

Oh Carol huge hugs... it's no wonder you feel tearful, can you break things down into manageable chunks. Speak to somebody at uni, see if you can get a bit of extra help until you are back on track.
Next time you do your driving test you will know a little better what to expect, so it may steady the nerves.
Have you spoken to your OH, let him know you are feeling under pressure.
And most importantly take care of yourself, make time for a bath, read a book, eat chocolate, just something to treat you xx“Cancer has my body but not my spirit, and I’ll continue to make jokes, not so much about cancer, but in spite of it” Irwin Barker0 -

Hi guys
((((((((((Carol))))))))) take care of yourself can't advise on much but the driving test will be better next time cause you'll know what to expect, I didn't pass first time but flew through it the second. Hope you manage to find some peace xx
Is titheing when you squirrel away so much of everything you earn??I do a 10% thing of everything I earn is mine to keep and it doesn't get touched, only used for something that will make you money....is it the same thing?
Back in from work - obviously lol.. just waiting for littley to come in now then we're heading off into town to M&S and probs McDonalds for a treat for tea, then I'll be doing the bathroom when I get in....teenies just finished the kitchen :j
It's getting dark  best bring the washing in.
Ciao :hello:0 -
Big hugs ((((carol)))) Sorry you're feeling stressed.
I used to work for BSM and most people fail before they passyou can always do another. Have you done any mock tests with your instructor?
Maybe instead of thinking there's not enough time to do anything you could break it down into one or two things that you know you could do today and forget about the rest until you've finished the first things?
And make sure you treat yourself and do something nice for you each day. Even if its just having a relaxing bath or something?
Hope you feel better soon xx
OMG it's 3:40 and I've still not had my breakfast yet! Better go... my tummy's rumbling now lol:A0 -

Still if you have been feeling lousy you are excused, just make sure you eat something half decent though.
I am off to do my back exercises so I can tick off my list before tea (should just about manage as DS happy playing with his toy steering wheel/flashy lights thing!).
PS if anyone has not tried the weetabix brownies I recommend them!- NOT for brekkie though!

Hope everyone is having a better time than I am, love and hugs to those that need them xxx- First things first - have a :grouphug:. We all need them now and again and this is your time!
- Second - you need to speak to someone at uni re- not keeping up, to see what support you can get
- Third - re: bowel cancer - go speak with your GP and tell them your concerns and ask them to help you put it in perspective, and whether there is anything you should or should not do i.e diet etc
- Fourth - see if there are any "special interest" clubs at uni which might help you to make some friends
- Fifth - driving tests can be re-taken - get yourself booked in and have another go. If at first.................etc etc.
- Sixth - the flat - flying starts with teeny weeny steps. As several have said on here, it didn't get in a mess in one day, so it won't take one day to fix. Make yourself a list of what you need to do every day ie making bed, SS bathroom/kitchen etc and try sticking to that. You don't have to follow Pigpen's list (she won't mind
) but decide which room or area is the most important for you to feel happier. If you are feeling really tired that might be your bedroom, so just changing the bed, or cleaning the window might be a good start. Or perhaps the bathroom - turn it into a little haven by making a start on a deep clean and put yourself a couple of candles in there so that you can treat yourself to a nice bubble bath in a lovely atmosphere.
And - give yourself a pat on the back for the weight loss!DMP mutual support thread No: 433 - Mortgage - £54,556, Credit cards - £4012, Unsecured loan - £3,376, Other - £419
