ive been reading this thread and wish you all the very best .. one point though.. when we helped my friends mum move in similar curcumstances we tried to do it as quickly as possible but someone rang him at work and he came home and caused a terrible scene, just thought i would let you know this could happen..

with reference to the washing machin.. cant you take that with you.. with 3 kids you need it more than he will and mabey if he had to struggle a bit harder without you might make him realise what a prat he been ..

good luck and all my best wishes

    Thankyou

I have been thinking of doing this

I can't believe that someone would do that it's unbelievable! If it does happen and he causes a scene call the police. Is there somewhere for the children to go while you are actually moving? You may be better on your own with some adult help to do this quickly

The very best of luck another couple of day and the worst bit will be over and you can start the rest of your life

    Thanks

If he does return i will call the police. As for the children they are 18, 15 and 13 so will be helping with moving their beds etc.

    But thanks for your thoughts

Rolo...ive just read all the messages, and i have to say how proud i am of you, in having the guts to move out! Because it does take guts. I KNOW that its the best thing for you, and especially your children. You all deserve to be happy, and you cant be happy with this man!
Make sure you take the right legal advice...oh and make sure you also take the washing machine!!!!
All the best on your new happy future xxxxxxxx

This is really good for your children, they will know for sure that you do not approve of what your husband has said and done to them and that you will not tolerate his behaviour towards them. This is so important for them. They are all at an age when they are thinking about things and how the world works and I am sure you will have no trouble from them like some people do with teenagers. I have 3 chilkdren and I know that the teenage years can be a nightmare!.If you had stayed I think it may have affected them at this difficult age.

I will be watching for your posts and I am thinking about you even when I am not on here.I hope it all goes well tomorrow and wish you the very best of luck, I wish I was there to help you

  • Good Luck for tomorrow. All thinking of you.
  • Only just come across this thread - Good Luck and Well Done! You just need to carry on being really strong now for yourself and the children - luckily they're old enough to understand whats going on and why.
Do let us know that you're ok.
will be thinking of you tomorrow.
