good luck with that, will be thinkng of you, just keep thinking "this is the last thurs. i have to do this" then "this is the last friday.." etc and each day u will wake up feeling stronger, that will carry you through until next tuesday,

it seems unfair u have to leave, but do u think ur hubbie really dones think theres a problem, or does he think, "she wont leave me", and thats why he wont go,

ur doing the right thing, good luck, and take care of u,

    Thanks
saw a soliciter today he gave me 1/2 hour of free advice well i was in there for 1 1/2 hours so that was good, he told me what i should write in letter i am leaving for hubby,

I feel much better after seeing him.

I know i am doing the right thing

Thanks to everyone for your support

  • Hi rolo - just wanted to add my support. I was in your position where I was going to leave OH and said to him that if he didn't go to relate then I was (or rather he was) going!!. I had got to the stage where I wasn't prepared to put up with his cr*p anymore and had come to the end of the road.

Luckily for me (although I really don't want you to think I am gloating) it worked out with my OH and we sorted out differences, (with the help of relate). I am only telling you this as I know if he hadn't had agreed to relate then we were finished. It is not a one-way street, it needs BOTH of you to agree to work at the marriage and if he isn't prepared to do that then you will never find happiness and neither will the children. He will just grind you down more and more and the children will also suffer alot more.

I am thinking of you and sending you lots of hugs:grouphug:
When you were born, you were crying and everyone around was smiling. Live your life so at the end, you're the one who is smiling and everyone around you is crying! :rotfl:
  • Hi,

I just wanted to say that i am thinking of you, and will be thinking of you on Tuesday. Lots of hugs xx

    Hello Rollo,
To quote TurnaroundSue, just wanted to add my support. I was very unhappy when my marriage was coming to an end and it sounds as if you're doing the right thing, indeed the only thing. Very glad you have got some good advice and that you've found somewhere to live. You'll be in my thoughts as well, especially next Tuesday (hope you'll still be able to get online).
Sending you lots of love and strength,
    MsB
