Does this warranty cover you if your daughter's dog decides to eat the camera??You don't get medals for sitting in the trenches.0
-
I'd say yes.
From http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/8830863.htm
"Covers breakdown of your item, including where due to an accident, for up to 3 years from the date of purchase (inclusive of any manufacturer's guarantee)"
I suppose if you deliberately feed the camera to the dog then its not an accident.0 -
I spoke to 3 people at Apple today - each of them said that Apple HAD NOT offered the 5600+memory card for the same price as the 5200

Far be it from me to point out that the angry faces and doubt are a little uncalled for, however, as for Chocoshake's deal, whilst I have no idea what deal Chocoshake agreed to, I can say that based on my own personal experience, I have no reason whatsoever to doubt that they are telling the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. The MSE Dictionary

Work this out for yourself given these FACTS ..
1 - Apple say the(besides chocoshake) HAVE NOT offered this deal
2 - No-one here can claim to have been offered this deal
3 - Chocoshake cant remeber the name of the person who did him the deal
Now I'm no Sherlock Holmes but something smells fishy !!

Have you ever been on a flight that was overbooked, where allocated seats weren't given, where tickets were being issued and re-issued by frantic staff?
Have you ever noticed how there are always those clowns who rant and rave, issue idle threats to sue, demand that the tubby frontline staff, "get the manager down here now", shout about never flying with "you cowboys" ever again and generally give those with least control over operating procedures a hard time? ... Have you ever noticed those sort of people? ... I'm sure you have.
Well ... Have you ever noticed the folk who don't shout, don't issue idle threats and don't get aggressive? ... They simple put the case as it is, stick to the facts, avoid tangents, get a result and slip unnoticed past the clowns turning purple at the check in to retire to the bar for two hours with a big fat upgrade and await the next flight?
Just because folk on here aren't blowing and going about negotiating the same deal as chocoshake, (or better), it does not mean the deals have not been done.
As for your hope of getting a better deal, or any deal for that fact.... Apple are well aware of forum activity and thus I am sure Apple will be well aware that any "solution" agreed with yourself at this point in time would be counterproductive..... After all, you are doing a fantastic job on Apple's behalf in convincing folk that there are no good deals!!!The MSE Dictionary
