but its okay I'm perfectly able to defend myself, yes, I do post a lot, I am the board guide for the credit card forum so its hardly a surprise. I am not housebound I just like offering my help and expertise to others. As for junior-junior I think it is perfectly obvious that (s)he is trolling and as such the only suitable reply is no reply at all, anything else just encourages them (however annoying it is to see their nonsense stand unchallenged).

At the risk of repeating myself..... As you base your accusations on the fact that Chocoshake has failed to name any Apple employees..... You will of course give us the names of the Apple employees you spoke to in an effort to jog the memories of others less organised?.... Your failure to do so will of course speak volumes.

There is simply no need for this thread to have descended into such confrontation. Falling out with, or having a go at others is neither beneficial, nor polite. Points can be made in far more fact-based, rational ways without the need to call someone's character into question.

This deal, as far as i can see, is something that Apple need to address (see Martin's amended comment on the first post) and isn't something we need to fall out about.

For the record, Glastonian's post count is testament to the many hours that have been spent helping other people out over a number of years.

People lets just chill no need for all this over a CAMERA! we are all here to help each other out. Some of us have been lucky with Apple and some not.

Its similar to the other thread about Dixons mispriced console some had it easy and some had to put up a fight.

I spoke to a lady yesterday in Customer Relations and she is due to get back to me today so can you all cross your fingers for me :rotfl: i shall let you all know the outcome when she calls... if she calls. So for now let just smile and enjoy saving more money. :T

Firstly, I object to being called "a troll" by someone just because they disagree with my views - look at my comments comparing the 5200 with the 5600 - I was right

Secondly, Apple have made it perfectly clear to me on 3 occasions that they DID NOT offer the deal Chocoshake claims he received - he is offering people false hope

I say it again - Chocoshake, write your oder number up here so that we can give the reference to Apple for your so-called deal !! .. I know you wont because you made it up !!!
