Not wanting to be tooooo presumptuous... but I seem to be in the lead for the nominations at the moment.
I just want to say that if I do win, could it be arranged for the £50 prize money to go to the Tsunami Disaster Relief Fund that Martin has just put £7,000 pounds towards?
See this thread for more info:

As we all know from this site... every little helps!
Have a Happy New Year everyone!
You get my vote for this month0 -

That's a really kind gesture and on that basis I hope you win
but
the winner isn't always the poster with the most nominations, sometimes it's Martin's personal choice ;DI am a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Wales, Small Biz MoneySaving, In My Home (includes DIY) MoneySaving, and Old style MoneySaving boards. Thanks for that Glad, I was wondering about that because sometimes people help someone out personally rather than a general thing for everyone. Does that make sense, it does to me ;DBulletproof0

1/2 price train tickets get my vote too. I saved £60.0

The ba thread started by polar_low should be post of the month yipeee!!0

I can't nominate all these obviously so I'll just say all the above and:
theredfox (the Tesco wine), jon-e-boy (the Tesco vodka), and whoever found the Moulton Brown offer (apologies - I can't find the thread), from which I sort of benefited, and alanrothwell for the Boots hampers. And a few others I've forgotten but who helped me save some dosh somehow or other ;D
The helpers on the board who find sites as quick as a flash.
The helpers who do all they can to help people with money and legal difficulties.
All those who give up their time to helping other members resolve their computer problems (not an easy job with people like me about ;D )
polar_low's find was fantastic. It seems like a whole community's built itself around that offer.
sarawandar's find, fantastic one, especially for the students who got home so cheaply in time for Christmas.
Loads more I've forgotten so apologies.
Lastly Foxy/frugalite whose 'finds' seem to benefit everyone
Good luck to all and a big thanks to everyone.
Happy New Year too ;D0 -

thanks and happy new year 2 u 2
Sofa_Sogood
Thanks ;D
And if anyone's mad enough to put my name forward, I'll put £50 on top and donate it. I'm not after any accolade or kudos for sending people on wild goose chases because my 'finds' are usually treble the true cost, or have been duplicated somewhere, or are just plain useless! ;D
But the offer stands
Can't help being a newbie can I? lol
Happy New Year once again and good luck to the true bargain finders ;D0 -
i second this nomination. saved me a whopping £500+ (flights + hotel). credit also for [blue]moomin[/blue] who posted this ba flights offer at travel board.
but since loophole alerts should really be at "quick! grab it..." board, many thanks to [blue]polar low[/blue] & [blue]mcgi6ah2[/blue].0 -
Congratulations to Sawanderer who has won this month for the train ticket discount thread.
As requested the £50 will go to the Tsunami appeal.Could you do with a Money Makeover?
