Hi!
Well done for being so sensible and not just saying s*d it when you bought your contacts. At least you'll be able to see Dublin now you've got them!!

Ha ha! Well hopefully I should be able to get the money I spend down - but I wanted to over budget rather then struggle to eat over there!! I managed on £60 for 4 nights in Madrid last April so 3 night in Berlin on £60 should be ok too
Trouble is eating out - entry to clubs (reason we're going) all adds up... also my OH wants an import only CD for Xmas (Jazzanova) which is a Berlin band so I'm thinking I can save on import costs if I get it over there!!?
I'd forgotten when working out that £80 that I had sent 2 cheques (£24.50 and £10) which should be coming out shortly so there's a lot more I'd need to make! Think I need to stick to just no new pay day loans and also using PAD to get my Abbey Card to under the limit - I think with the payment I made at the beginning of the month that another £30 should just about do it with the interest that will be added!!
Those are things I can actually achieve and will put me in a much better situation in January - where I will aim to get back under my O/D limit!! Will still try and make as much money before then anyhow... further ahead I can get of myself the nearer my DFD will be!! :beer:Debt Free since 2012Current Savings £1,400Current Mortgage £143,398.270 -

It's suprising how one little fall can make you feel s*d it what's the point of this they'll always be these extra costs coming in... I almost felt like denying it and pretending that it hadn't happened but better to be honest on here!
At least today is a NSD to make up a little for it :TDebt Free since 2012Current Savings £1,400Current Mortgage £143,398.270 -

Today isn't going to be a NSD - I'm meeting my friend for lunch but he has got some WSpoons vouchers that we can use so shouldn't be more then £3 at most!
Tonight I'm heading gym after work (got the bug back after last night) and then I'm home to pack for Berlin... really looking forward to it! :j I've been on holiday a lot this year so it's not a treat I deserve but it's the first time that I've actually budgeted for it and am feeling guilt free about it all!!
Found myself a little Berlin friend on Qype as well who I'm asking how to go out on the cheap:rotfl:

I found the best thing for me was to allow myself a budget for the week - whereas before my attitude was I won't spend anything I always cracked.. I find that Sophies Mom's Daily Thread about the little things you do is highly motivational as well if you concentrate on the little things and then see you can achieve them it gives you more confidence to tackle the bigger things!
Qype is a review site - if you did 50 reviews in November you got £50 amazon voucher! Also had other things for more reviews such as an Ipod. I think the offers have stopped at the moment but they're going to be running new ones in the new year!! I've now started actually using the site as the reviews that people write are really helpful!:TDebt Free since 2012Current Savings £1,400Current Mortgage £143,398.270 -
