Thanks! Will have a look at that this afternoon hopefully
80p spent on lunch - meatball soup. And £4.17 on Potatoes, Naan Bread, Baguette, 2 packs of 8 crumpets, can of tomatoes and chick peas. (I'm making potato and chick pea curry for 5 people on Friday) so total spend today £4.97. BUT I'm actually feeling incredibly positive about money I've got back into my book so haven't been out looking at shops at lunch time and that makes me feel a lot betterI'm convinced that I can really reduce my spending by cutting back on drink (again! really is a problem of mine) cutting back on eating out, taking packed lunches - working weekends etc etc.
I've just been offered overtime for Saturday which is great - would mean out Friday Night party 4am bus home - few hours sleep work 8am - 1pm. Roller Derby 2pm- 4pm. Then work 6.30 - 10.30pm so better get myself a good nights sleep tonight - AND stay clear of the alcohol on Friday
I think I'm going to keep a count of all the extra money I earn this year in 2010. Just to show me how much I'm wasting!!

Good idea to keep a note of your extra earnings. I started recording my extra wages due to OT last year, and now I am wondering where they went!! :rotfl:start = Wed 19th Nov 2008 £21,225

I love a good plan - it may not work.... but I love a good plan!0 -
Nat for a very long time i always wondered where my overtime went, even if i said i was going to save it or use it against debt as it wasn't my normal income it always got lost in the wash.0

£1 spent today on tights with seam party tonight is to celebrate Elvis's birthday as well as my friends - rest of outfit will be dress I already own, red lipstick and victory rolls - I know Elvis is more 50's but 40's is more fun! Have also brought 10 metres of material for £10. My friend is having a birthday party with a Spartan theme so I am making cloaks - 10 cloaks - charge £3 each = £20 profit so long as I don't spend more then a few hours on it should be worthwhile!! That'll be fun for next week!?

that's where we're lacking round here, there's no proper markets, when i lived in yorkshire there were loads of really good markets which are still going, round here you're lucky to get a fruit and veg stall0
