Oh hun - what a horrible week! (would insert dodgey group hug icon here, but can't find it!)

Mouche is right about the hereditary thing and if that bloke dumped you by text then it shows he wasn't worthy of you anyway!

    Hugs, Nat x

Mind you it is an early pay day so maybe not so good!? I'm not feeling very Christmassy and haven't brought any presents yet either? Oh well i'm not spending any money at least! Will try and update often again from pay day really need to be careful if I'm going to last 5 weeks on my wages!!

    Hi!

Glad you see you are still around - and done well with your money too.

If the temptation to splurge money hits, remember its only a short term high followed by a much longer low!

Well done hun, you are still on the right track! Hugs, Nats x

  • Just worked out my bills and I have £180.22 to last me until next pay day. I do however need to get presents out of this still and rail cards. Tight tight month!! I need to get some extra work in and be extra stingy with my money. I spent too much money on the weekend just gone. £70 all together on 3 nights out - ridiculous really considering I have no money and it's coming up to Christmas. I've been scared to look at my balance again. But it's ok - I've spoken to my Mom and I'm paying off £230 off my debt this month which is £100 less then usual which she's happy with (she's happy so long as I let her know in advance!) Well I've had my little spell off the track (again!) and I'm thinking MSE again - it's still going down - although slowly. But I feel much better now I've checked my balance and worked things out!! Here's to being debt free (finally) in 2010 - I know I said it'd be done in a year, but so long as I get there eventually that's what is important!! :)

  • ok - so getting back on track... I have just applied for a job to work 16 hours Fri/Sat/Sun at Bar. Bound to be minimum wages but I could just do a couple of months to get in a bit of extra money? (If they offer me the position) just to get me firmly back on track. I've still got my events work that I do occassionally so a bit more of saying yes to that as well.. I need to get back to my gumtree days of applying for all the little events that happen!!

  • Hi Elizabeth, nice to see you still around! December is always a hard month as is January - I don't know about you but we get paid a week early which means Jan is looooonnnggg!

Good luck with the bar job, it'll keep you out of mischief as well as earning a few extra quid. How are you feeling now? Hope you're well.

hi elizabeth, glad to see you back here, Jan is an horrible month isn't it? lasts way too long.
I'd say that though you are tight for the month ahead your past history has proven that you can achieve anything.
