  • Thanks guys!! It's (re)proved to me that I don't need to be spending so much money! I think I'm going to try and keep myself to a £25 budget a week for this month - It's been over a year since I started paying off debts and I think I need an anniversary month of MSE in December!! :)

Bills all paid - £100 transferred across to friend to pay for New Year (That includes Petrol and 3 days in Cornwall - a treat I know but a cheap one?) and £200 left to last me.. if I stick to my £100 budget - that's a £100 for presents (which I shouldn't need that much) time to update signature (Oh paid another £330 off to my parents)

  • Well done on getting sub-£3k!! And don't worry about the Cornwall treat - it's ages since you've done anything like that, and at least this has been budgetted for. You need little treats occasionally to stop you having a big blow-out when you feel deprived!

Oh you poor thing - what a week you've had. I'm so sorry about your Nan. Giant hugs to you.

Has your sister seen a specialist? They can do such wonderful things these days... and don't panic about the heredity thing. Just because it's hereditary doesn't mean you inherited it. If you can get tested and you want to know, then it might be a good thing.

Stay strong. My thoughts are with you.
