I was tempted - then I looked at the Nat Express timetable and although I am only in Kent, I can't get to London before 11:20 on a Sunday!! How mad is that????
Hope you manage to sleep on the coach and have a good time!!start = Wed 19th Nov 2008 £21,225
end = Mon 28th Sept 2015 DEBT FREE!
I love a good plan - it may not work.... but I love a good plan!0 -
I suppose it is a Sunday! I checked the trains and it's the same situation for me with them - just this one coach that leaves early! Going to be a tiring weekend that one - but I like that sort of weekendDebt Free since 2012Current Savings £1,400Current Mortgage £143,398.270

I'm going out for a friends 30th birthday that night so I could not drink and just get straight on the coach.. arrive at 6.20am and start work 7.30am. I'd get £65-£70 for the day so would still be £50 and could sleep on the coach... think I'm going to do it!!
Yikes, don't think I'd have the stamina for that, but good for you with your resourcefulness and determination! :TWeightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -

I find that if I have too much time to sit around doing nothing and not spending money then I just get down and lose all motivation.. (I think this is where I slipped up before)

Oh I know what you mean - the lure of internet shopping! Are you still hoping to have it all paid by the end of the year?Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0

I think that'd be impossible now after my slip up! But I just want to be left with an overdraft - I want to have paid back my parents and not have any pay day loans or credit cards... So that's £2474 I want to pay off - am paying £300 of Pay Day Loans this month so that leaves £2174 to pay over 4 months pay slips - £543.50 a month!! I had previously budgeted for £330 a month so I need to earn £213.50 extra a month! That's the challenge!
Right going to check my bank balance and hope some moneys come out so I can finally update my signature!!!Debt Free since 2012Current Savings £1,400Current Mortgage £143,398.270 -
nothings come out! I'm sure it was meant to be the 7th? Maybe it was later... oh well can just keep checking daily.. wouldn't it be great if they'd accidently lost my cheques....? he heDebt Free since 2012Current Savings £1,400Current Mortgage £143,398.270

What's the point of an easy challenge though? If you can get a couple of those weekend jobs every month it'll be no problem!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0

Yes! I'm quite lucky I think as all the extra work I've done has actually added up to a fair bit of experience so I tend to manage to get a fair bit of extra work, add a Part time Saturday Job to that and I might just make it!! Fingers crossed... I really need to fill in some application forms! Going to apply at Argos as well...Debt Free since 2012Current Savings £1,400Current Mortgage £143,398.270
