i'm sure you'll be able to get through this month, i bet if you read back in your diary you'll find a similar situation which you worked hard and got through. You're not afraid of hard work and that will always go in your favour.
  • Yes - I'll find the money from somewhere I'm sure. Didn't get much done yesterday, had a bit of a nothing evening, found out some stuff that got me a bit down and so just moped about and listened to music... all on spotify though so still no money spent!! Cheered up just before I went to bed and back to feeling positive again today though! I'm heading out after work today - am going to a friends for dinner then out for some drinks... I'll be drinking Soda Water and aiming to make this my 4th NSD!!

Will be spending Friday Night as I'm meeting a friend for dinner, but planning of making the most of this free artsfest for the rest of the weekend - just got to try and get someone else up for going to it with me!!!!

  • Aw, hope you're ok. As long as you can mope but come out of it you'll be ok! Out tonight and tomorrow will keep you busy at least!

  • Yes - it was a nostalgic mope - wishing that things could go back a year.. but no point looking backwards - I'm a great believer of not even looking forward but concentrating on the here and now and making the most of whatever is happening today!!

Ok so today I have a confession... it hasn't been a NSD - I bartered a pair of shoes down from £30 to £5 in New Look... now they are returnable luckily... and I'm not sure I can justify them - but I guess as I had allowed myself £20 for my entertainment and it's going to have to come out of those funds!! I'll keep the receipt and if I'm desperate I can take them back I guess...

    BUT they are lovely :)

  • Cool! Can you come shopping with me please?

If its budgetted for - then why not? Everyone needs a little treat as long as it is DFW (which they certainly are!!) and the money is from a budget.

I love a good plan - it may not work.... but I love a good plan!
  • I suppose it's ok as it's from the budget!! They're missing a buckle hence the amazing price, easily fixed though with a little sewing!! And if I get my needle and thread out for these then it might encourage me to do the rest as well!!!

  • Woo it's Friday :) 2 weeks until pay day as well! Checked my balance and nothing unexpected has occurred! Stayed on Soda Water last night - had dinner at my friends - breakfast there and even asked for sandwiches to take to work!! Am spending tonight though as meeting friend for dinner - will keep it to a minimum though!! Also may just have a date tmw :) To take me to Artsfest - (my lonely I have no-one to take me messages have paid off) but that's dependent if he's here or in London!! Unfortunately boys are one of my weaknesses when it comes to money - especially first dates - my lack of money embarrasses me, so I tend to pretend that I can afford anything!! Am determined to be good though :)

  • Ooh, hope it goes well, you never know he might be old-fashioned and insist he pays for everything!

  • Oh I don't think this one will ;) I've been lucky the last few dates I've been on have been total treats and I haven't had to spend a penny.. but this guy is tortured soul musician... in other words broke! Still doesn't mean I can't stick to Soda Water and still not spend anything - we're just going to a free gig that's on :)
