  • So went camping in the end... but didn't drink! Quite a big thing for me as when I'm with all my friends it's easy to get distracted and just think s*d it!! Still spent money that I shouldn't of but still got fingers crossed for this event work on the weekend - I can't see why I wouldn't get it I have all the right experience!! Am going friends for dinner tonight, another friends on Wednesday, open mic night on Thursday and then film night in at mine on Friday so busy but cheap week! :)

  • Checked my bank balance - one pay day cheque has gone out and I have £650 left in my account. £270 to parents for rent, £300 for other pay day cheques and £70 to renew the others... eek! Well if I don't get this work then I have £15 in my purse that will have to last the rest of the month! I've read threads where other people have survived on as little as that so if they can do it so can I! Going to have to get back on ebay ;)

  • Just realised it's the 1st September so going to set myself some goals.
15 no spend days - will be a challenge for me, but need to be doing it!
    £200 extra money earnt - that's £6.66 a day!
5 Items put on ebay - I haven't done this for so long and I need to declutter as well as get some money!
Hopefully by the end of September I'll be in more a position to post a new SOA and see where I'm at with everything!!

  • Just did a snow ball - 5 months!! And my aim is year end :( So need to get that down to 4 months... only need to make an extra £200 during that time to have paid off everything.. but I'm sure with fees etc that snowball couldn't take into account that I'll be needing to earn a lot extra! That also now doesn't include my overdraft £1500... that's just going to have to be something I look at next year! I'm ok with that though.. so long as the rest is paid :)

I know what you mean... it's the little things that all add up - I keep buying so called daily "bargains" but I can't afford anything like that so I'm setting myself a fairly high NSD challenge... really makes me think before I spend so I can meet my target!! No word about bar work yet - I can't understand why not really as I have all the experience that they would need? Going to keep applying for bar work and one guy said he'd filled position but gave me a good website to sign up for to look for work!!!
