Fingers crossed for this job xxx:heart2: THANK YOU MARTIN!! :heart2:0 -
Thanks! I really do feel more in control all ready.. I haven't built up the courage to ask my parents for a month off yet, just paid them £85 for annual insurance and will still pay them rent, but hoping can have a month off paying back the debt... ridiculous the amount of money I've spent on this extra debt - really frustrating when I think it could of all gone on paying off the original debt and I could be totally nearer my goal
Oh well can't look back, just need to move forward and not let it happen again!!!!

I have been working on a list of positiveness for my fridge
Feeling pretty great this morning... can't believe how a bit of control of my finances can make such a difference...
A List of Positiveness
1) Turn phone off for at least 2 hours a day
2) Make packed lunches and plan your meals
3) Have at least 2 T-Total nights out a month
4) Only allow yourself to check Facebook twice a day for a maximum of 1 hour
5) Plan your outfit for the next day, lay it out on the bed complete with jewellery
6) Go to bed an hour early and read a book, prop head up with 3 pillows
7) Cut down caffeine to half a cup of coffee each morning and replace other half with green tea.
8) Have a bath before bed and use a body brush to give yourself a good exfoliation.
9) Do at least one piece of tidying a day - whether it be emptying the bin, cleaning the bathroom, or doing the washing up
10) Set one night aside a week for a film/pamper night, whether with friends or alone.
11) Be aware of your bank balance
12) At least one no spend day a week to make you realise what you spend on
13) Make contact/catch up with at least one friend a day - whether it be text/email/phone - make sure they are feeling positive!
14) Do something new at least every month: Roller Disco/ a new bar or cafe/ a yoga class/ learn to meditate.... It doesn't have to be a big new thing, but it has to be different
15) Let the boy do the chasing… and get on with your life… what will be will be J
16) Have a moto

Wow very positive indeed! I might copy some of your ideas :-) Especially the tidy something everyday lol, I tend to leave it all till it's too big to tackle. Planning your outfit is fab, saves so much time and stress on a morning!! I always do it for the kids, must start doing my own!!
Thank you for being so positive :-)
xxx:heart2: THANK YOU MARTIN!! :heart2:0 -
hi Liz, glad to see you're getting yourself a plan of action, when do you find out if you've got the bar job? I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
Keep up the positivity it's lovely to read it (if you know what i mean)0 -
Well I'm not sure when I'll hear back but I'm guessing it'll be the end of the week... hopefully!!
If I can stay positive thinking like above, then I'm thinking that'll stop my urges to spend to cheer myself upxxx

Yesterday was a no spend day.. and I'm hoping the same for today.. time seems to be going very slowly though. Have sent of cheque to HOF card to claim charges back so that's in motion at last. Have applied at another catering events company for temporary work, and also sent an email to NEC/NIA and Academy for bar work. Hoping something comes up soon!
Sticking with the positive frame of mind though... it will be sorted
