Things are still a whole lot better than they were a few months ago. Have you managed to stay free of the bank charges still?
Are the PDL all one loan, or are they made up of smaller ones? If they are smaller ones, why not pick one and target that one so that next month you only need to roll over 4 instead of 5 for example. That might be psychogically more manageable and motivating than looking at the whole £500 as one lot.
Then set yourself a £100 challenge or something - get ebaying, surveying, scratchcard scratching etc to get that first £100 under your belt.
Keep going - you are doing really well.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
I'm glad you're updating again! I know you don't feel like you're doing well but you are, because you're here! Admitting where you feel like you're going wrong!

Am applying for bar work - still spending too much money though, even though I'm here I still seem to be in denial about it all. I need to buy some things for lunches today, but other then that going to try for a no spend week. Will try going gym at lunchtime to stop the urge to go spending. Also have an item of clothing that I'm going to take back for £25. I need to sort out my head and house this week.

Just updated my signature, My debt has gone up about £20 since I last updated... so I guess that is better then expected..? Annoyingly I must have paid so much in charges etc again!!
Found Pot Noodles for 50p each - think that I'll pick up another 4 and that will be my lunch sorted for the week... not healthy, but when I'm down I don't feel like being healthy...
I think I need to rehit the gym, since my second job disappeared I've become lazy and I think this is part of the problem with my attitude, I'm just not caring. I'm checking out bar work in the evening as well.... need to try and get an extra £400 for next month in order to pay off £300 of pay day cheques and renew the other 5. That's my aim and I've done before it's possible!!!Debt Free since 2012Current Savings £1,400Current Mortgage £143,398.270 -

Sorry to hear that yours has gone up as well! Oh well only way to go on is forward and sort things out from there!!
I'm trying to be positive, there's not much I like about my life at the moment, but everyone goes through these phases I guess and I should just concentrate on getting through and getting the debt down. Sent off letters to Barclay card for list of credit card charges yesterday and will do Capital 1 today.
Got a new phone upgrade yesterday. I know that I should have put it on ebay and sold it but I didn't. Still not in that right frame of mind!! I don't know how to get back into it though? Feel constantly tired and like I just want to listen to music and walk around all day long. I've avoided the shops as I know that's where I head to cheer myself up, but I'm spending money on food instead, I just want to be constantly eating. I know the only way to feel better is to take control back it's just really difficult.
Am going to keep trying though.Debt Free since 2012Current Savings £1,400Current Mortgage £143,398.270 -
If you are feeling constantly low, it might be worth a quick chat with your GP. You need to get yourself back into balance a bit, and it could be something as simple as taking some iron tablets or something like that.
You may be suffering from mild depression - after all, you have been through a fair bit in recent months. It is hard to take control when you feel like this, so perhaps your GP could suggest something to help?Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. Has been a hard few months, but I won't write about all that here... the only way I'm going to feel better is by taking control and fixing the things that are making me feel down. This is mainly job and money. Once I've sorted these then I can start living my life as I want to a bit more and so maybe I'm going to feel down these next months whilst I sort out things - but the end situation will be worth it! Feel better just writing that! Just posted letter to Capital one
I do need to go to the doctors soon though - so I might just mention it - even if I could get some sleeping tablets or something I think that would help!!!
Thanks
