I am working Isle of Wight Festival this weekend and will get cash at the end of it, but I need to make more money quickly to get myself out of this situation. Feeling just really down about everything, took 2 days off sick last week just cos I didn't feel I could cope with work. I thought I would use the time to put some stuff on ebay but that never happened. Went Peak District at the weekend, and though I had the intention of it being a cheap weekend, my friends didn't and I ended up spending money just to keep up! I have £80 in the bank now and need to pay £50 for my travel pass. I am getting paid for Isle of Wight immediately after the festival so going to try and work as many hours as possible there, but it's rubbish money really. Nothing I can do for the moment though so going to get through these next 2 days at work without spending money. I need to buy a coach ticket to London for Isle of Wight and other then that I can't afford anything.
Can't believe I've gone back to where I started... well I can because I always end up here...

sending you hugs, you may feel like you're back where you started in the short term but everything else has changed.
Is there any way you could get a travel card for a shorter length of time so that you can afford to travel to the festival and get paid there? then you could always get the expensive travel card after the weekend.

Thanks - I can afford the coach to London have found a return for £11 and the rail pass won't come out until the 16th so I will have my festival wages by then hopefully! I know I can get out of it again, just wish I hadn't been stupid enough to get back to this point! There's other festivals I can work in August and if I claimed back my credit card charges for my barclay card that would be a help. I will stay over after work today and write a letter to them... so stupid that I haven't already done that!!

Also trying for a photography job at the weekends.. so long as they supply the camera, I'd just go to the clubs and take photo's for websites. They've left a message on my answerphone saying they're interested, but I'm worried that my camera isn't good enough!!
