sorry to hear you're feeling so low, i hope getting some sleep with help. I'm sure your parents will help you out if they possibly can, they have been really good support for you. Well done for getting the money for your mobile.
  • Thanks - I'm determined to be positive and sort this out again! Have just had 2 NSD in a row

(Well I spent £7 on a Disney Singstar Game but that was with an old Amazon Voucher that I'd got back in my Qyping days so no money actually spent)

  • Well been keeping my money in check, though did spend yesterday - did lunch with a friend £2 and went out to an open mic night and had 2 halves of lager £2. That's been it for the week though, so that's really getting back in the right frame of mind!! Have forgotten to bring lunch today though which is annoying as I'm away to V Fest straight from work which means the chicken and bread that I'd got ready will just go off as well as spending money on lunch and dinner today!! Need to get some food for breakfast during the festival as well so going Tesco's at lunchtime! At least I'm earning this weekend and sent off an Application form for a bar job yesterday :) Have had two good nights sleep and feeling a whole lot more positive!!

glad to hear you're feeling more positive, enjoy the festival and think of the money you're making whilst others are frittering it away.
  • Hope you're having a good time at V. Nice weather has to be a blessing!

Glad that you had a good weekend - the weather was FAB wasn't it! £110 plus tips is pretty good news too :T

Good luck with getting the bar work for September - another £100 will be well worth the effort :D

  • Spent £15 at lunch - that includes lunch today and breakfast lunch and dinner for the week. I was meeting a friend tonight but they've cancelled which means Ill go to the gym instead. Am going a friends for dinner tmw night and then going to go out for a drink on Thursday with some friends... I'm going to stick with Soda Water though, I'm doing low carb so going to blame it on that ;)

Then weekend I'm camping in Bude - have already said that I won't chip in if people buy a load of food and will just buy for myself. Petrol will be about £20 and other then that I'm guessing that I'll probably spend about £20 (Going T-Total for the weekend) I could get out of it but it's a close friends birthday and as I'm hopefully working the weekend after and it's bank holiday then I'm going...

Have had a look at my finances have paid off some of the bills and I have £950 left now which I need to pay £270 to parents for rent, £250 towards Bills, £300 to cover 3 of the pay day cheques and £75 to renew the other ones. Which leaves me £55 plus £10 in my purse to last me the month... so if I don't get work camping is going to be my only weekend away!! In fact I'm going to make a pact with myself... if I don't get this job then I won't go camping... :(
