well done on getting through to a second interview, will keep my fingers crossed.
don't forget to tell you're little seedlings they are very good as they've popped their heads up, my pea seedlings were scoffed by some huge snails so i've had to start them again, and i've discovered why my aubergines have been shy - the cat keeps sitting on the seed tray!

Sorry I haven't been on here too much, I've been so busy at work and just haven't felt like thinking about money once I'm home... generally I haven't been spending though, I've been enjoying myself but on a budget and that budget is going to be a lot smaller this month coming up so I think I'll be back on here...

Need to make some resolutions for next month, including sticking to weekly budget, taking lunch from home, trying to get more NSD's in....

I'm finding it really hard to stay in and not spend though, I get really down whenever I have time to myself and so am constantly inviting people round for dinner, or going out for drinks and though it may just be a £5 here and there it all adds up... friend is not moving in as I had hoped... I'm still not getting into anymore debt, but I could be getting out of it faster if I tried!?

Need to keep busy but doing free things

  • Sounds like you're doing well. I sympathise with the keeping busy though. As the weather is getting nicer, I'm finding myself wanting to go out more. When the weather's bad I'll more than happily sit at home... :D

  • Hey - have the 2nd interview at 12. Have written myself 2 A4 pages of notes to take in - hope they don't mind!! At least I'll look like I've prepared something. Feel like I'm aiming too high with this job, but then again I need something challenging in order to keep me occupied... fingers crossed anyhow!!
