LttF - well done on the new job!! That's great news - I'm sticking mine out a bit longer at the moment. There are talks of redunancy and I want to see what's going to happen!!
Not sure what to do about not having a second job anymore - been enjoying it but am missing the money a little bit! Thinking a job on the evenings might suit me a bit better maybe - couple of nights a week, will look into it!Debt Free since 2012Current Savings £1,400Current Mortgage £143,398.270 -
hi sorry to hear about the bar job, what about stacking shelves, not amazing but it's regular and a job.0

Yes I wouldn't mind working in a supermarket or something like that. As long as it's different from my day job I'm happy! I think there's some work going at the NIA in the evenings so I'm going to have a look into that!!Debt Free since 2012Current Savings £1,400Current Mortgage £143,398.270

Glad you found something useful in there! I'm still waiting for my seedling to show - hope I didn't leave them too late! Was speaking to a friend on the weekend and she wants to move out - but is moving London in September for a job... so I might have a lodger for 4 months. Couldn't cope with a full time lodger but 4 months isn't such a chore, and obviously she's laid back and considerate so I think it would work short term. Sorted for reducing the overdraft then
Going to talk about it again this week and see whether she is definitely up for it or not!

that sounds like quite a good short term measure if you get on well.0

Oooo! That sounds ace! & only 4 months, I'd definitely go for it. If it gets bad (like ours did) at least you'll have a light at the end of the tunnel.Debt @ LBM 29/12/08 - £49044! So, that's 4 months of extra income sorted - good news!!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0

Hi Elizabeth just popping in to see how you are
A lodger for 4 months sounds good, extra cash and least you know even if it doesn't go well its only 4 months.Proud to be dealing with my debts - DFW No: 712

Well , I've been super busy at work so this is just a quick check in. Have been spending zero money on the evenings though have taken to buying my lunch again... need to get this back in order, only spending £1 a day but still could be getting something healthier and nicer for that if I cooked at home!! Still find it a bit hard just to cook for myself though - it's not really that enjoyable eating by myself every night!
Good news though my first seedlings have come through - the mustard greens.. left them in the sun today so hoping a day or two and I can replant them into bigger pots!!
