Yup, I live and die by my slow cooker and never pre-cook my chicken or meat ( I think it makes it too tough sometimes if it is pre-cooked/braised!).
Don't forget, the food is cooking whilst it is on Auto and it is on over a long period of about 7-8 hours so it will be totally cooked through!
Good luck...
That curry sounds lovely, I may have to try it myself in the next few days!0 -
Hey Everyone
Well I had an excellent night out... I got more then a little bit drunk, had a meal entry to club and taxi home all for £28!! £1 under budget! Bit of pre-planning brought the cost of the night down with my flyers and happy hour wine and pre planned food!! Really was a good night and felt very destressed for having it!!
Worked Saturday Night which was good.. and fun!! Had dinner there as well as earning £30 (£15 to taxi as we'd run out of dockets boo!!) But it's meant that I'm doing ok for this week.. have been doing my PAD and am even more determined to pay off more in February come pay day Friday!!
Am however going to make use of the Pizza Express 2 for 1 and take my OH for a meal... I'm going to have the cheapo Margherita for £5.60 which means he can order what he likes and that's all I'll have to pay for!! Ok so will mean I haven't stuck to my 90p a day... but if you remember he did treat me to about £80's worth of things the weekend before last!! And means I get to dress up!!
How was everyone's weekend?
Smarties - have you used your slow cooker yet?
I've still got a last portion of that curry for dinner tonight... made it last 3 meals which was pretty impressive... think I'm going to make another one tonight... but I have no meat so will just put potato and lentils in it
Had a couple of friends round for food and film (Heathers) last night and all we talked about was money.. January is such a bad month!! Here's looking forward to Pay day3 days

Oh I didn't realise it was off the whole bill!! Will have to look into that offer... I'm going to use the pizza express tonight though as I've already booked the table.. It'll be OH turn to buy something next week though so I might suggest Pizza Hut... yum yum!!
HAve just been to Council about my Tax bill - and turns out I have overpaidThere's another £90 coming out this month and then I'll have paid off the full years... I think that's early anyhow? Means I don't need to pay for February or March... does the new year start in April? I'll have a look into it!
Anyhow I'm going to work out a SOA with Council Tax and then any extra can just be thrown at the debt anyhow!! Got 20 mins now so I'll be back in a minute to see what it's looking likeDebt Free since 2012Current Savings £1,400Current Mortgage £143,398.270 -
