Feel a little bit down again today - asked the OH what he had planned and he said I'd see on Sunday... Sunday!? I know it's partly my fault for working over the weekend but that means I see him on average about once every 5 days! Considering that we're not long distance surely it should be more then that??
I'm having serious doubts - but also don't want to give up just because it isn't easy anymore!! I said to him that this year we need to start being a proper couple as we're more like friends at the moment!
Anyhow on a debt free note I've paid £1.02 to abbey and am about to write a PPI complaint letter to FO in the hope I'll get some money back!
Really wish I had something to look forward to.. but that always costs money!! I've emailed a load of friends to see what they're up to and I'll playing the if I'm busy I won't mind whether I see OH or not game...... it doesn't really work like that thoughIt'll be great when I can give up this second job and have proper weekends together!! He also hasn't mentioned about moving in which was meant to happen in February but the way I'm feeling that's definitely postponed for the moment
Anyhow on a good note I'm proud of my signatureSo I'll concentrate on that!!

I have the same with my OH, this year I've seen him twice but it can go weeks and we both live in London0

If it makes you feel any better, I'm married to my OH, we live in the same house, but thanks to his job involving most evening and weekends (he's a chef), and me doing a normal 9-5, we rarely see each other. Certainly not on special holidays. this Christmas Day was the first we spent together since we got married 3 years ago and we've never spent NY Eve together.
I guess the only thing to do is talk more on the phone - even if it's short calls. And make the most of the time you do have together. If he's the right guy for you, you'll find a way to make it work.Mortgage (original/ current):193,000 (23/09/11)/ £102,500 (07/11/2019)

It's ridiculous!! He said he can't see me tonight as he's going shopping for a present for his sister... I wouldn't mind going shopping with him? It's like seeing me is becoming a chore.. oh well he's worth the effort so I shouldn't moan but it can't be good when I'm feeling down about it all the time!! I'm not controlling or anything funny like that - just want to know that he wants to spend time with me!!Debt Free since 2012Current Savings £1,400Current Mortgage £143,398.270

I would be happy talking more on the phone - or even via email but I always feel like I'm bothering him!!
Like you say mouche, I've made the decision that he's worth the effort.. I just want him to make some as well!! Oh well I'll see what he comes up with on Sunday!!Debt Free since 2012Current Savings £1,400Current Mortgage £143,398.270 -
Well another day another problem sorted... I decided if it's getting to me enough to post on here then we need to talk... so met him for coffee after work! Confessed to everything about my how bad my debt had been and how I don't think I could of got through without this site as he's not there to support me! Come to the decision that we just need to talk more often... which is probably obvious, but you'd be suprised how hard it is!
Had a little cry in the pub which was embarrassing but glad it's all sorted. We're not exactly sure what's going wrong with us, but we're both sure that we totally want to be together so it's just a bit of time I guess!!

You know, today when I saw your post about how you felt, I thought exactly that to myself but I didn't want to butt in and give my 5 pennies worth so kept my mouth shut! Well done you!Confessed to everything about my how bad my debt had been and how I don't think I could of got through without this site as he's not there to support me!
:T Whooooohooooo!Come to the decision that we just need to talk more often... which is probably obvious, but you'd be suprised how hard it is!oh believe me, I know, we've had a really rough ride over the past 4 years and if we hadn't sat down last year and spoken about things that I'd bottled up or just tried to forget, I don't think we'd be where we are today!

Hi Elizabeth  I was catching up with all the threads yesterday as have been away over the holidays and thought you were doing really well until I came to your post about your OH. I am so glad you met up and had a chat. I think having a cry can be good as it releases so much tension.
Good for you - 2009 is going to be a fantastic year for you, I can feel it
