  • I need to somehow make a further £200 a month to get to my target of £8K by Xmas 2009.... I've only put £100 for working at the weekends... this could be a lot more if the shifts come in though so fingers crossed for that!! Also have only budgeted £12.50 a week entertainment and £20 a week Food... These two kind of overlap so lets say I have £32.50 a week budget starting from Friday!!

:) Here's needing some luck but I'm determined to do it!! :)

  • Just thought I'm already paying £115 to my bills so with the £439 Surplus = £554... so technically only need to find an extra £112 a month.... Straight away Feb and March I'll have the £70 from Council Tax :) It's definitely doable!!... right just time to make my PAD before lunch is over xxx

Yes it does!! I think this weekend I'm going to pay off my Vanquis and House of Fraser (I've missed HOF off above £165 by mistake but if I pay off won't matter) make my minimum payments and PAD's and then let the water settle and see what's left!! 2 days until Pay Day!!

thanks for mentioning the pizza hut offer, i'd forgotten that i have an email about it, looks like OH may go there next week on our day off, also using out McD's cinema tickets.
  • WELL DONE looking good, yes i also have a vanquish card i want to get rid of asap
  • Well it's the day before pay day and I've managed a £3.23 payment to MBMA :) I've had a look at my monthly outgoings and it's going to be a tight month.... ha ha, I think they all are going to be to be honest!! :o

Well these are going to be my targets for Februrary...

    My Main Challenge:
    • PAY OFF VANQUIS AND HOUSE OF FRASER CC's
and then some various ones that if I make great if I don't then I won't be kicking myself
    • Pay off at least £666 off CC's in total
    • Stick to £32.50 a week budget for Entertainment and Food
    • Stick to £20 a month clothes budget
    • Put at least 5 items of clothing on ebay
Plans for this weekend include: After work drinks on Friday 23rd, Beer Festival (with Dad) Saturday 24th Afternoon, Burns Night Party Saturday 24th Evening. Ok so that's a lot of plans and only £32.50 to spend... but I can do it! (Good job I have enough food in the house for the week!)

Rest of the month I need to go out for a friend's Hen Party on the 30th Jan, Go to a Wedding on the 14th Feb (OH's cousin) and then WORK WORK WORK!!! :D

I'll keep checking in to let you know how I'm getting along... I NEED to earn more money this month so will survey etc at lunchtime as well :A

All looking good and organised Elizabeth!!

A wedding on valentines day is almost as bad as the one I went to on NYE!! What possesses people I wonder?

Glad you feeling positive - it does generally seem that way at the mo - I think most people have got back into their DFW / MSE ways after crimbo!
