Mornin Ladies Its raining here this morning, in fact its rained since teatime yesterday. Glad I did my washing last night and put it on the airer in the conservatory, its dry this morning, so ironing for me then today :(

Rusty my leg is a bit sore, no bruise just a lump. Dont you dare tell your DH you have lost your craft mojo he'll think you have ordered another one and spent some more money :rotfl:

Paddington I hope your shoulder is less painfull today and you have a better crafting day x

Marg have you got your problems sorted out yet and back to normal ?

    Morning!

Hope you are feeling less pain Padster & Flourgirl. & Mrs Tidge less delicate as the day goes on

Rusty & Furry - My 'to do' list is the same as yours! I usually get a bit of space on a Friday but need to go & clean up @ MIL's (alzheimers sufferer) then go looking for new oven. Maybe this evening I'll get chance.......

Flourgirl - Thank you for asking - all seems to be sorted apart from the oven - we got a local Miele engineer out who got the door off & checked the electronics but it seems a bit like modern cars - they can replace one bit for £206 (prob plus VAT) and if it doesn't work try another bit @ £388 & still not sure it'll be OK. Oven is only 7 years old. I think I can get a new one for less, just a case of matching it up, sort of, to rest of kitchen.

Bet you wished you'd never asked:rotfl:

Had not too bad a night's sleep but was up for half 6 . Fortunately I did all my challenges before my mojo went walkies :D.

Shoulder is still v sore but tablets seem to be working at the mo - I'ts my pocket that's sore today - got into car reversed out of drive to go to work and something went CLONK then was making very odd whining noise - took it to garage shaking like a leaf and was in such a state walked the mile home (fortunately had stopped raining) - anyhoo they rung and have bust a spring - time for a diet methinks :rotfl:

OUCH!!! how on earth did you manage to break a spring?? ... that is one thing which takes a hell of a lot of force!! dependant on the car it may not be too expensive ;)

    Hope your shoulder eases soon.

I am going to wait for my kitchen floor to dry ... I have been a scrubber on my knees cleaning in the kitchen today so far ... I want to get as much as I can done cause I am off to watch DS's school play this afternoon :) ....

I might go and craft whilst I wait for the floor to dry :)

craftygranny it started raining just as I went to peg the jeans on the line just before tea, typical hot day and I didn't decide to do washing until later :( and I am too tight to put the drier on.

    Paddington sorry about the car

Marg I'm sure you will get a new oven for the same price, like you say though its getting one to match.

DH is taking me shopping this morning and out to lunch. He said he would take me to Morrisons in Retford so we can do the shopping and have a sandwich in the cafe, kill two birds with one stone!! He sure knows how to treat a girl. Bless him.:D

Car will be better later and cheaper (and more use to me) than a new oven - even though I don't need to go anywhere I feel trapped :rotfl:.

We have a drive that has a hump at the top from the lane and I have to reverse up it and turn left at the same time - we also live in a very lumpy private lane so it's not good on the fillings either :rotfl:. Least I'll be here when the postie comes so I can squirrel before OH gets home :D.

Mostly peed coz I couldn't deliver the card I had stressed over last night .

Never mind no major damage done, no one was hurt and I didn't get stuck miles from home and I can rest my shoulder again (although i am supposed to be working from home).
