Rusty - no still no signs yet - I wish I knew exactly when he was coming so that I could prepare myself. Every twinge I get I start panicking. Typical isn't it - you clean the floor - then the kitchen floods!!!

Sounds like a premonition for your own situation, lol ;) :rotfl:

Wanted to say a big thank you publicly to Rainmac for the fantastic Christmas stash that she sent me for the Christmas card challenge. I hope this isn't the usual standard of challenge prize offered as the winner of the embossed/thank u card will be very disappointed with my offering!!

mary, I love your blurb in the signature bit - I would be unstoppable if only I could get started. That's brilliant!!!!

We just got absolutely soaked coming out of Tescos and getting to the car. Thunder and lightening above us, it was a bit scary, like something from a film. The boys thought it was great ;)

I didn't have any core'dinations either but as postie brought my glitterpot order (25 hours from order to delivery - how fab is that!) I do now and I found my mojo lurking at the bottom of the parcel :rotfl:.

It's like bazzil basics but with a different colour in the middle but the black magic is black on one side and coloured on the other so it comes through - just need to find something to sand it with now :D.

I also ordered swiss dots and the victoria embossing folder which I've used already for my thank you card. - pic later camera permitting.

Car is still poorly as bits didn't arrive at garage and when they took it to bits the bearing has collapsed as well  will be done tomorrow hopefully so got soaked picking DD up this afternoon when I would have just hopped in the car :o.

I have to sort all DD's stuff for her to go to her dad's tonight and all I want to do is crawl into bed plus the out of school club is closed one of the days I need in the school holidays so may have to grovel with work again - can you tell I'm really fed up - hope OH isn't nice to me when he gets in or I'll burst into tears. We are having Indian for tea though as I couldn't get to the shops and he can't be bothered to take me tonight - bonus.

Sorry for long whinging post - note to self: get a grip woman :rotfl:

Forgot to say - you can borrow my bucket Rusty - we had a leak in our kitchen but it was coming from the water pipe under DD's floor - and I'm a dab hand with a mop.

Well done Rainmac your stuff is lovely - can you borrow some of the stuff you've made for your craft fair to give you a litle more time to stock up? If there's anything I can do give me a shout - not sure I can manage cards a la rainmac but I can sure try :rotfl:

Rainmac Huge congratulations to you:T:j I knew the florist would love your things, shes not daft as they will enhance her window displays to perfection. Just wait while the orders come flooding in. I dont know how to stretch time but I know from experience the more you take on the more you get done and you will be at that deadline! Just keep thinking about the money :D

Melissa I think you need another bumpy bus ride and a nice hot bath :D

Evening all - witching hour hear so I am being very naughty and ignoring the children with the pc and a g and t!

Dragonllew- congrats on impressing the teachers- I bet they'll have loads of cards from you:T

Rainmac - huge congratulations to you:T - I'm afraid I can't help on the finding more hours in the day though!

Flourgirl - hope you enjoyed your up market lunch out!:rotfl:

JHB - fingers crossed you haven't got THE lurgy - just an ordinary lurgy!

Rusty - sounds like you had a great afternoon (except for the roof). Hope DH is home and looking after you now.

Paddington - glad your mojo was delivered along with your card stock - you do sound like you need one of these though :grouphug:

I'll be popping some swaps on CP later - I've got a fair bit of stash that does absolutely nothing for me and it seems sensible to just pass it on to someone who may enjoy it.
