MrsTidge - it looks like it is THE lurgy. :( I've spoken to my GP (by phone); as I'm not in an 'at risk' category he reckons it's not worth giving me Tamiflu - he said it would only shave a day off the illness. So quarantined now for the next 4-6 days; I'm annoyed as my sister will be having her baby on Monday, I'm sure she won't let me see her before next Thursday! :(
Paddingtondoo - thanks for the no-spend links. :D I've made a card today for the CCC challenge that will also work for the Lili of the Valley one. I'll update my blog shortly.
Rusty - ooh exciting. :D I'd forgotten the altered challenge ended today.
some people grin and bear it, others smile and do it :)

Paddington - I know where your mojo is!! ......It's on my mantle piece! The ATC you sent arrived today & it'd gorgoeus. So beautifully packed for a comfy journey too. THANK YOU

Sorry to hear about your car problems & I agree that's much worse inconvenience than a U/S oven. Hope you get sorted very soon.

JHB - Sorry you are poorly hope you feel better soon - How do they tell the difference between THE Lurgy & any other?

Rainmac - I had a curry yesterday!!! I'd never heard the one about the pineapple until my s-i-l mentioned it at the weekend.

Paddingtondoo - thanks for the info, it sounds a bit like the chocolate box papers that furrypig was lusting after. I taped QVC and watched it yesterday - they did look cool, she was tearing them and sanding them so that the underneath colour showed through. She also embossed the card and then sanded on top of that so the embossing really showed up.

Flourgirl - the streets are really bad around here - there's sleeping policemen everywhere, I have to hold my belly every time we drive over one.

Melissa - apparently you have to eat vast quantities of pineapple to make anything happen/work. I am a firm believer that it doesn't matter what the heck we women do - men will show up when they are good and ready!

All the altered stuff is lovely- I must try and join in next time.

Maybe we should have an altered gravy tub challenge :rotfl:.

I've eaten my Indian and when I was trying to find an emery board to sand my core'dinations I found some Body Shop bubble bath that I'd forgotten about so will be having a lovely long soak and getting in my jammies early.

The coredinations is gorgeous it comes in loads of different colours - must keep hands in pockets as have now run out of space to store anything else. I was good and only bought these oh and these

Glad you liked the ATC Marg - I enjoyed making it
Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended :p

Mrs-Tidge I know what you mean about men. I think I'll lay off the pineapple - I ate quite a lot of fresh pineapple once and my lips swole up to twice their normal size!!!

Paddingtondoo - those pads are really good value - I am trying not to buy anything else at the minute though.
