    Brilliant cards as always girls!

Just uploaded my entry for the water challenge to my blog

    http://teabagscraftybits.blogspot.com/
  • I have a silly question....
do any of you trace your templates onto card? How do u do it?

1)place a piece of tracing paper over template and draw outline
2)turn tracing paper over [pencil side down] onto card and scribble over the back?

.... but surely this means the template is back to front.
    What am i doing wrong?

Kim..I print mine on the reverse side that way they come out the right way..so I would assume if you trace on the wrong side the same would happen

Rusty - go for it! It's a lovely card and would not be out of place on CCC.

Marg - I love the image, and I like how it appears 'subdued' IYKWIM? Not garish. Did you print directly onto the card? I've not tried that yet - but I have just printed some vintage images onto card that I'm going to try with the LA papers I won.

Rainmac - thanks for the link; I must have missed that one. Would you recommend the book then? Do you think you'll learn anything from it? Or is it just for inspiration with regard to designs/layouts?

It's more for ideas really, there are very few step by step how to do things but loads and loads of images of cards and lists of what they've used. Not worth £5.99 IMO but at £2.99 I think it's ok, I've found a couple layouts that I love and am going to adapt to use my stash rather than what they've used in the magazine. Does that help you decide one way or the other...? ;)

Lovely cards Dawn and Marg :T

    Best wishes saveapenny x

So glad you entered Rusty, good job and good luck xxx

    DSCN3188.jpg

I was going to enter it into the CCC challenge, but they are all professionals like yourself and mine is nowhere near upto scratch! How I wish I could have pretty colourful papers lol instead of printed!!

Rusty I love the card it's my kind of thing, spots are a real favourite and I love the photo very much, its so like where I live in the Essex backwaters. (we still point at planes!!! :rotfl:)
