Well, this is my Water Challenge card, it will be for my brother in laws birthday as he likes fishing. It's come out looking a bit gloomy and not as 'watery' as the original picture that inspired me but I couldn't think of anything else to do that didn't look as if I'd copied someone elses!

Saveapenny - think you said it was about now you go for more hospital tests - I do hope all goes well.

Rusty - go for it! It's a lovely card and would not be out of place on CCC.

Marg - I love the image, and I like how it appears 'subdued' IYKWIM? Not garish. Did you print directly onto the card? I've not tried that yet - but I have just printed some vintage images onto card that I'm going to try with the LA papers I won.

Rainmac - thanks for the link; I must have missed that one. Would you recommend the book then? Do you think you'll learn anything from it? Or is it just for inspiration with regard to designs/layouts?
some people grin and bear it, others smile and do it :)

Great card Marg - if your BIL likes fishing, I'm sure he'll love it.

Rusty - Please enter the card, I love it, all co-ordinated and very clever to combine 2 challenges into 1 card, very MSE. The spots & textured card look so stylish.

Jailhousebabe - Yes, I scanned the image from an advert OH was sent & printed it straight onto the card, with hindsight the hammered card wasn't the right sort to use and a smoother one may have looked better.

Thank you jailhouse Rusty & CT19720 for commenting on my card.
