lei-armstrong - I love your exploding box card! I too love Mr. bump - I used to have all of the books when I was a girl.
Rusty - I'm so glad that you entered your card for the challenge - its fab!! I really like the idea of using photographs when making a card - its such a pretty picture too!
Marg - great card, a really tranquil image.
Saveapenny - hope everything goes well at the hospital!

    Thankyou Melissa :)

Does anyone have any whiff of joy stamps? (I think that is what they are called?)

I love this one for some strange reason but trying to find one I can play with as I have never stamped before

Except if you're like me and can't resist spending in the craft shops - LOL

Looking forward to seeing some of your cards, Broady.

great card Rusty, I'm so glad the others managed to convince you to enter it into the CCC challenge :)

Marg - lovely pic on that card, it has a sort of postcard feel to it, well done :)

dawnteabag - great challenge card, I love the colours youve combined ;)

lei - lovely exploding box, looks so detailed it must have taken you ages!

hope all goes well with your hospital visit saveapenny and that you make a speedy recovery, get lots of rest!

Broady I don't know how you manage to save money, I just keep finding card making things that I really really need!

Thanks for posting the link - i've just ordered one, can't resist a bargain  particularly when I have some money sitting on paypal doing nothing!

I ordered one today too, I looked at it in W H Smiths and fancied it. (We're terrible aren't we? :rotfl:) Last day today girls, anyone that wants it. (Wish I had 'money sitting doing nothing' though! - wouldn't be for long! :D)

Thanks also rainmac for that link you gave me earlier, will look into it. ;)

probably a completely daft suggestion but what about a compass point for pricking - wish I could find mine then I might have a go :o

Came back from my few days away today, the weather hasn't been too bad. Rutland is a very beautiful part of the country, lots of lovely little villages with exclusive and expensive shops. The flannel swiss rolls on the market in Oakham were £3 each they were wrapped in a band of corrugated card and tied with raffia.
I'm not saddle sore as we didn't take the bikes in the end, as the rubber fixings for the bike rack had perished:j.

You have all been very busy making cards for challenges, they are all fantastic, I will catch up with all your blogs later to leave my comments. Well done to all of you:T:T:T

Welcome to our new crafty ladies:hello:. I don't know about saving money making cards, stick with us we will show you how to spend it on lovely goodies:D I am looking forward to seeing your cards and hope you will join in with our challenges.

Saveapenny so glad to come home to good news about Harry James and hope him and his mum continue to do well. I hope everything goes well for you too. Sounds like you need to put your feet up and have a good rest, and let someone else do the running around and worrying.

Right popping over to blogland now to catch up on there.

You could try it, I think it might make too big a hole as you are only using one strand of thread. You can run your finger nail over the back of the holes and they do close up a bit after you have stitched it. Worth a try.
