Well, this is my Water Challenge card, it will be for my brother in laws birthday as he likes fishing. It's come out looking a bit gloomy and not as 'watery' as the original picture that inspired me but I couldn't think of anything else to do that didn't look as if I'd copied someone elses!

Saveapenny - think you said it was about now you go for more hospital tests - I do hope all goes well.

Marg, that's a really nice card, like it very much!

Rusty I love the card it's my kind of thing, spots are a real favourite and I love the photo very much, its so like where I live in the Essex backwaters. (we still point at planes!!! :rotfl:)
It was taken just down the road at St Marys lighthouse, when the tide is out you can walk from the car park down to the lighthouse, but when the tide is in then the lighthouse is out at sea, I love the place, and this was one of OH's photos which he took on DS's 3rd birthday
Thankyou for the lovely comments :)

I have been making cards for a while and it is a great way to save money

I have been card making for ages but it does not save me money, I spend a fortune. I have been of work for a couple of weeks as hubby has had surgery so looking after him and I dont think a day has went past without me ordering something online.

  • Hi,

I've been off work because I had an operation and my boyfriend's 26th birthday is coming up but he's already had his present, so I wanted to do something special for his card and was looking through this thread for ideas! Came across the exploding box cards and thought they'd be perfect so spent yesterday being creative...
